There is a wait of about 10 minutes right now. It's worth it and it is one small way you can actually influence the outcome.

Congressional negotiators announced on Monday night they have a border wall funding agreement they believe President Trump will sign into law. On Wednesday FOX News announced Democrats slipped a “poison pill” into the deal that will prevent the 55 miles of wall from being built.

ARE, Sweden (AP) — It was a telling sign that in Lindsey Vonn’s last race there was only one other American skier competing. Two days later, the U.S. couldn’t even enter a squad for the team event at the world championships because it didn’t have enough skiers available. And as for the men’s slalom team, the one that produced the likes of Bode Miller and Ted Ligety? Well, that’s been practically eliminated. “We are dwindling,” Vonn said. “I can’t remember a time being on the U.S. Ski Team that there weren’t two or three people that could have taken the...

Marc Brooks, 41, served eight months alongside Jared Fogle at Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Englewood, Colorado, for a probation violation. The former inmate told DailyMailTV the disgraced Subway promoter is doing well in prison and recently received a qualification for 'culinary arts'. A jailhouse photo provided by Brooks shows a trim Fogle, sans eyeglasses, in a mint green jumpsuit at the ceremony with his fellow inmates. 'Yo, he's living the life in there, he's eating good, working out, cooking...not a care in the world,' said Brooks, who was released from the facility on January 25. Fogle, who is serving...

West Indies fast bowler Shannon Gabriel has been banned for the first four one-day internationals against England. Gabriel, 30, accepted an International Cricket Council charge over comments he made to England captain Joe Root during the third Test in St Lucia. In reply, Root told Gabriel: "Don't use it as an insult. There's nothing wrong with being gay." It takes Gabriel's total demerit points to eight in a two-year period, resulting in a four-match ODI ban. West Indies host England in a five-match ODI series starting on 20 February in Barbados. Gabriel was due to be rested for the start...

The wreck of the World War II aircraft carrier USS Hornet has been discovered in the South Pacific, 77 years after Japanese forces sunk the ship in a fierce battle. The research vessel Petrel, owned by the estate of late Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, discovered the Hornet three miles under the ocean surface off the Solomon Islands late last month. The Hornet, the last U.S. fleet carrier to be sunk by enemy fire, lost 140 hands under a relentless Japanese air bombing attack at the Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands on October 26, 1942. As Imperial Navy surface forces...

I really tried. But especially since she gave up her radio show, Laura Ingraham has become unwatchable. Bringing on these idiot Dems, like Chris Hahn, and Scott What's-his-face as some sort of "balanced" view is a complete failure. Lou Dobbs has the template for success. I make sure to DVR him, and play during the 10pm ET hour. Laura, we hardly knew ye. Good bye.

The Guantánamo Bay prison is shopping for a new three-cell, handicapped accessible compound — complete with a 115-foot dog run and guard house that can tap into the Pentagon’s secret internet network. Why? “We must prepare for multiple contingencies, and modular buildings can be adapted and configured to provide us the flexibility needed to adapt to numerous circumstances,” prison spokesman Navy Cmdr. Adam Bashaw said Friday. He declined to answer specifically whether the proposed new compound was meant for the war court; the prison’s most clandestine lock-up for former CIA prisoners, Camp 7; or for a site called Camp Echo...

The world’s insects are hurtling down the path to extinction, threatening a “catastrophic collapse of nature’s ecosystems”, according to the first global scientific review. More than 40% of insect species are declining and a third are endangered, the analysis found. The rate of extinction is eight times faster than that of mammals, birds and reptiles. The total mass of insects is falling by a precipitous 2.5% a year, according to the best data available, suggesting they could vanish within a century. The planet is at the start of a sixth mass extinction in its history, with huge losses already reported...

Alicia Keys may have been hosting the Grammy awards on Sunday night, but it was Michelle Obama who brought the house down: entering from offstage arm in arm with Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and Jennifer Lopez, the former first lady joined her compatriots in recounting exactly why music was so important.

NYU Psychology professor Eric Knowles and doctoral student Sarah DiMuccio queried 300 men on Amazon's crowdsourcing platform Mechanical Turk to discover whether they had or would search for terms such as "erectile dysfunction," "how to get girls," "penis enlargement," "testosterone," and "Viagra," among others. They discovered a high level of concern about masculinity "was strongly associated with interest in these search topics." They then correlated the geopgrahic dispersion of these search topics in 2016 with how such areas voted in that year's election, finding "that support for Trump in the 2016 election was higher in areas that had more searches...

Kirsten Gillibrand doesn’t know how to eat fried chicken (seriously) annnd we’re officially DEAD" Have we mentioned how much fun the Democratic Primary is going to be? Dude. The most recent, less than Super Bowl notwithstanding, the N.F.L. continues to be a behemoth, dominating the sports landscape in revenue, attendance and television ratings. That popularity has over the years tempted entrepreneurs to try to cash in by starting professional football leagues of their own. The latest effort is the Alliance of American Football, which plays its first games on Saturday. There have been plenty of pretenders to the N.F.L.’s crown over the years. None have succeeded, but all had their share of novelty. (Please see link for full article) Some history of other competitors, follows that...
