President Trump does not have to sign the immigration bill.
After last year, then Pelosi winning a few months ago, the president has had plenty of time to prepare.
Either he has a plan (and doesn’t need advice) or he doesn’t have a plan (and we aren’t likely to get border security). I personally think he’d have already triggered his plan if he had one but hope I’m wrong.
I agree. Don’t sign it. However, McConnell already told Congress that the President will sign it. If President Trump doesn’t, then he makes more Republican enemies. They’re all swamp creatures, I hope President Trump doesn’t sign it and let the chips fall where they may. Hopefully Pelosi croaks from a heart attack in the meantime.

They have to STAY in Session for the ten days and NOT adjourn.

It’s really up to us. The powers that be are not going to do the right thing. We’re at a crossroads in our country and we will rue the day that we didn’t fight back.
Republican enemies? The whole dam bunch are enemies, save a few, so why sign it and make enemies of his base support?
Forget it. This is already decided and not a stand-alone act.
He knows what he’s doing.
But veto or not sign, close border. If border closed the big guys start screaming at Congress.
Things get done in hurry, in Trump’s favor when big guys scream.
Do not declare a National emergency.
It will get challenged unless Trump got previous Declaratory Judgment that his basis for emergency in keeping with law.

I would have declared the NE way back in December. He should veto this bill. He needs to come out and explain what he is doing.
After seeing the vote tally, he can veto it and they will override.
Dont sign it and let it pass without a signature.
He has till Midnight Tuesday. Veto it and let them work on it over the weekend.
I’m convinced McConnell’s mealy mouth is a total tool for the Democrat Party on the wrong side of the isle. The man damn sure has no inclination for conservatism. Veto the bill and declare.
If he signs it, it will be because he thinks it’s the best way to proceed to get things done...while many panic and pull their own panties into their cracks, I’ll support and cheer-lead the best President in our lifetimes and the fighter we needed to give the People a chance.
