In this message, Dr. Stanley tells us why Christians face such persecution and how we can respond to it in a godly manner. Despite an ever-present opposition throughout the centuries, Christianity is still growing. It cannot be broken, stopped, destroyed or silenced. Will you be part of its survival or contribute to the attacks against it?

Tonight on Special Report with Bret Baier both Tucker Carlson and Charles Krauthammer were excoriating Cruz over the issue of Obamacare defunding. That's fine.If you think he's wrong or foolish or whatever, make the case. But as part of their arguments each brought up that Cruz was born in Canada.  Carlson mentioning that there were questions as to whether Cruz could be president and Krauthammer joking that Cruz could be Prime Minister of Canada. What did that have to do with anything? The topic was defunding Obamacare and Senate strategy. .@TuckerCarlson @krauthammer What does Cruz being born in Canada have 2 do w...

On Friday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel, Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer mocked the Republican tactic of using the budget process to defund President Barack Obama’s 2010 health care reform law. Krauthammer called the House’s vote to defund the law “Kabuki” and warned that it would come back to haunt congressional Republicans. “I think the Boehner speech is what you would expect,” Krauthammer said. “He didn’t want to do it. He had to do it, so he had to defend it, and that’s Kabuki. I think it’s going to go to the Senate and if we end up...

This is the emotional moment a British soldier who survived the worst ever battlefield injuries while serving in Afghanistan collected his MBE from Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace. Lance Bombardier Ben Parkinson lost both legs and suffered more than 40 injuries, including brain damage which affected his memory and speech, in a bomb attack in 2006. The paratrooper has since defied medical opinion by teaching himself to walk again for short distances using crutches. And his determination was exemplified today as was he able to proudly stand to receive his honour.

Prince of Wales: It is an 'act of suicide' to ignore green issuesBy Hannah Furness 7:25AM GMT 23 Nov 2012 The Prince of Wales warned the current generation is “heading to the terrifying point of no return” when it comes to green issues, with humanity and the Earth soon to suffer some “very grim consequences”. Saying he had been vindicated by science after being labelled a “crank" for his views years ago, he warned the human race was “pushing nature beyond her limits”. “If we go on as we are the impact of these scarcities and declines on human societies...

In an NBC Dateline interview, one of the 911 operators who took the call from the social worker outside Josh Powell's house, breaks his silence. In an exclusive interview with NBC's Keith Morrison, David Lovrak, who's been taking heat for his questions when Elizabeth Griffin-Hall called him, says he, like so many others in this case, didn't recognize the kind of man they were dealing with. "Especially for somebody who has done this for as long as I have, to relisten to the call and hear how clumsy and faltering I sounded," Lovrak said, "It was horrible. This has been...

Charles Rangel, Maxine Waters and the House culture of entitlementBy Ruth Marcus Wednesday, August 4, 2010 My favorite part of the ethics report on Charlie Rangel involves his efforts to "close" a $10 million gift "to create AIG Hall" as part of the Rangel Center at the City College of New York. Yes, that AIG. At a meeting in April 2008, the New York Democrat, then chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, "asked AIG, at least twice, what was necessary to get this done," according to the report. The insurance giant wasn't so sure about writing the check,...

Here’s a nice tidbit on the Shirley Sherrod charade, from now forward known as the Shirley Charade. You remember her, don’t you? She’s the former USDA employee that the incompetent Obama administration fired because of a video that was supposed to show her making racist statements. The point of the video was to show the reaction of the NAACP racist crowd that she was speaking to, but that was the point of another of my rants. But it does remind me of an old saying that birds of a feather do flock together. Not only that, they also marry. Here’s...

The heroism and sacrifices of servicemen and women in Afghanistan was saluted yesterday as Britain celebrated Armed Forces Day. Troops were cheered by a 50,000-strong crowd in the main parade in Cardiff, one of 350 staged nationwide in the second annual tribute to the bravery of the Services. Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall joined the outgoing Chief of the Defence staff, Air Chief Marshal Sir Jock Stirrup, and Defence Secretary Liam Fox to watch the outpouring of patriotism in Cardiff.

Prince Charles yesterday urged the world to follow Islamic 'spiritual principles' in order to protect the environment. In an hour-long speech, the heir to the throne argued that man's destruction of the world was contrary to the scriptures of all religions - but particularly those of Islam. He said the current 'division' between man and nature had been caused not just by industrialisation, but also by our attitude to the environment - which goes against the grain of 'sacred traditions'.

Prince Charles was at odds with ministers today over plans to abolish history and geography lessons in schools. The Prince of Wales is said to be 'passionate' about protecting traditional lessons in British history and English literature in the classroom. Bernice McCabe, a leading headteacher and one of the Prince's closest advisers, has criticised education reforms which she says will leave schools as 'globalised theme

Canadians favour Prince William to become king Published Tuesday November 3rd, 2009 Poll | Prince Charles not as popular A7 The Canadian Press OTTAWA - A new poll suggests the majority of Canadians would prefer to see Prince William become King, not his father. The Canadian Press/Harris-Decima poll, released Monday, asked 1,000 Canadians about their thoughts on the Royal Family. Forty-one per cent said they would rather see Prince Charles pass off the throne to William rather than succeed Queen Elizabeth himself, while 31 per cent believed Charles should be King. Doug Anderson, senior vice-president for Harris-Decima, said it was...

Bret Baier reported that "tons of email" followed the comments of Mort Kondracke and Charles Krauthammer on the Monday panel (Aug. 10th). Rush picked up on their comments today and Mort was back defending himself this evening. I emailed the show tonight (Special@foxnews.com) and let off some steam. Just wondering how many fellow Freepers have voiced their opinions of Mort's ridiculous positions such as the ones expressed last night and tonight (comparing Town Hall attendees with Code Pink protestors) -- especially since he doesn't have a public email at Roll Call or anywhere else that I'm aware of. I trust...

Prince Charles visited the Vatican on Monday for his first meeting with a pope since his 1996 divorce from Princess Diana. The heir to the UK throne was accompanied by his second wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, who wore the mandatory modest black dress and veil which the Vatican requires for wives of dignitaries who meet the pope. The 20-minute meeting was "cordial," the Vatican said in a statement afterwards. Prince Charles's accession to the throne was likely to be an unspoken subtext of the meeting, an expert on the prince told CNN. "The biggest thing on Prince Charles's...
