Rest in Peace, Ray Charles. I know some people like only the traditional performances of ATB, but IMHO Ray’s funky soulful version is one of the best.

I love Ray's version of America The Beautiful. Our local tv station used it as a sign off theme back when I was a teen. This is a newer version.

It's America The Beautiful, and it should be our official National Anthem, imo. Much better than that plagiarized English beer drinking song. A country's anthem should be stately, in 4/4 time.

I really liked this version of ATB ever since Mark Levin plays this every Friday. The late great Ray Charles REALLY KNEW how to present a song that is so beloved.

Seeing Ray Charles singing this song live was on my bucket list. My 11 year old daughter was with me. I told her how special this was and to always remember it. She is 32 now and recently told me she remembers and still knows it was special.
