Democrat Daniel Inouye has represented Hawaii in the U.S. Senate for 47 years, and he now holds a 13-point lead over Republican challenger Cam Cavasso in his bid for another six-year term. The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters in the state shows Inouye picking up 53% of the vote, while Cavasso, a former member of the state’s House of Representatives captures 40%.
