A Shreveport, Louisiana, cab driver was badly beaten, and part of the attack was videotaped by a bystander. Forty-year old Allen Beasley was robbed as he stopped to fill up at a gas station. Houston cabdriver accused of stealing more than $3,000 worth of toys from a cancer-stricken teenager last month was in jail Tuesday after authorities arrested him in southeast Houston on Monday night. Cedric Deon Edmonson, 25, was being held without bail on a felony theft charge punishable by up to two years in state jail. Capt. Robert Van Pelt of the Harris County Sheriff's Department said Edmonson gave detectives a written statement admitting his involvement in the Nov. 24 theft and led them to the stolen toys.
