...his arrest last week on charges of unlawful possession of Valium and lying to law enforcement officers.
I would hope that those are the very least of his charges. This guy wasn't out collecting for the Girl Scouts.

I am sure he will be investigated completely. I wonder how many liberal attorney's will come to his aid however, screaming about his rights? (and maybe some conservatives too?)

gee, do ya think? I can't tell you how many towels I've seen on the heads of cabbies. Be sure to distinguish between Muslim towels and Hindu Indian turbans, including those worn by guys named Singh, who are most likely Sikhs, which is a blending of a milder form of Islam and Hindu beliefs, but doesn't get along with either particularly well, especially not with the Musslemen.(old term for Islamics) I see more Indians and Sikhs, who are usually Indians by nationality in cabs. Oh, and be nice to Mr. Singh, they are gentle folk, until they are provoked, then they are mean MFers.
Some sikhs were killed (by idiots)in the US after 9-11 because of the confusion. It is from the Sikhs that we get the term "Guru".
They are gutsy too. The first local gun show after 9-11 was attended by a gentleman in a very nice western style suit and a brilliant blue Sikh type turban. Nobody bothered him, although he did get a few "looks" from behind his back, or so the lookers thought, I think he saw most of them, and I know he some some of them, because I saw him see them and the resultant twinkle in his eyes. :)

...and some of them can do bad things...
(although I take it that they didn't actually intend to destroy Air India Flight 182)

The Sihk turban is one that covers both ears.

Right on, I've actually had some good experiences with the Sihks. If I remember right, they have a different turban. I seem to remember that it came down low and covered their ears, where most other turbans don't.

How does his behavior differ from other New York city cab drivers?
