I just listened to yet another disturbing piece of propaganda by Oliver Stone, the Untold History of the United States. It is about the dropping of the atom bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. As can be expected in a good leftist piece of propaganda, the point made is that the US was the bad guy (including Truman) , who bamboozled poor Japan and Poor USSR during that time. I went to Hulu and watched the SNL skit of the Obama/Romney debate. They made Romney into the unlikable person, made him say the most outrageously false statements such as he killed Osama bin Laden (Romney lied-straight out of the DNC talking points), and even had Obama being excused for his performance because he was thinking about what gift to get to his wife on their anniversary (such a romantic fellow!) and SNL even made a centerpiece of Al Gore's buffoonish excuse that Obama was affected by the altitude. One of the casualties of Obama's debate last week is his likability rating. That was the only thing that was sustaining him. It definitely wasn't the state of the economy. When he started smirking and looking condescending when Romney was pummeling him with facts, some people not only continued to think of him as not exactly competent, they started for the first time thinking him as rude and a jerk. I just heard that Republicans can vote in the Democrat primaries of Ohio and Texas. One way to make the Democrat race last longer (hence cost more money, make them disunited) is for Republicans in those states to vote Hillary in the Democrat primary. If Hillary wins those primaries, she comes back to life and, hopefully, keeps fighting Obama for another few months while McCain lobs grenades at both of them!
