A campus group at the University of California, Berkeley, invited a conservative speaker to give a talk. How did Berkeley react, the legendary home of the Free Speech Movement? Given that the talk had been planned long in advance, did opponents get a permit to assemble legally and to protest? Or, if not, did they at least share their displeasure through a peaceful demonstration, with signs and chanted slogans? Not a chance.........

Found this cat in backyard. It really is loving and all, overall. Does not really bit very much but does have very sharp feet. Will only eat food off of the stove though. But he is free. Not responsible once you pick up.

"You've heard of the supermoon before, and we have three of them this year. The first occurs Saturday, August 29th. A supermoon refers to a full or new moon when it's at its closet point (called the perigee) to Earth in its orbit. The moon can appear up to 30% larger than it's normal size from Earth. The full moon occurs at 11:35 a.m. MST on Saturday, so the moon technically won't be 100% full when it rises in the east at 6:54 p.m., but we won't be able to tell.

A good friend has problems with his back and his mobility. I've signed him up for a few mail order catalogs which he has enjoyed. Anyone know of good catalogs I could send him? He is not on the internet and needs mail order sources for items not readily available in his small town, as well as new mail for him to read.
