" Remember all those senior yearbook categories most this, most that? I figured it was time to assign some of those titles to our survivors in The Walking Dead. Lets give it a whirl!
Most likely to Succeed: Glenn Glenn has a proven track record of success in survival, thinking quickly on his feet, and protecting others...."

Best looking: Clean-shaven Rick Who can deny the proclamation that Rick cleans up very well? ...
Most Survival Spirit: Tara....,
Most athletic: Abraham. He has the guns to prove it! He handled the walker threat at the construction site with speed, agility, and precision....

Some good points, and some I disagree with.
I can definitely get behind Glenn as Most Likely To Succeed.
I’m not a fan of clean-shaven Rick; I like him with a beard, or at least some stubble. But for me, the sexiest man on the show is still Daryl-—sweat, dirt, hair, and all.
I can barely keep from gagging over the “Cutest Couple” thing, even though it wasn’t meant in a homo way. Honestly, I’m sick of Daryl hanging with Aaron. I want him back with the family.
Beth most musical? That’s a low bar...I guess if you’re hard of hearing, maybe.
I like Michonne for best-dressed. I think she also has the best female shape.
Jessie...ugh.
LOL
A query for fans of both TWD comics and the series - has anyone ever wondered if whatever IT is that infects everyone and turns the dead into walkers is doing something to the minds of survivors? Notice how many turn paranoid, violent, and sociopathic? What if the zombie bug isn’t just sitting quietly in your bloodstream waiting for you to die, but is slowly eating away at your brain, some folks more than others (Shane)?
Going through Netflix, I said to myself, "I've heard a lot of people like this show. Maybe I'll give it a try." and hit play on the Frank Darabont-directed pilot.
From the opening scene, I was hooked like a crackhead!
Needless to say, I powered through the first four seasons with gusto! Impatient to wait for Season 5 to hit Netflix, I found a streaming service from Thailand and watched it from my laptop.
Just love this show!
Now I'm watching the series again from the beginning to get myself psyched up for Fear the Walking Dead and Season 6. As far as I'm concerned, they can just have an entire Walking Dead Network and make a bunch of spinoffs with different groups of survivors taking place all over the country.

I think it might be a bad case of PASD (Post-Apocalyptic Stress Disorder). Having one’s world turned completely upside down can play on one’s mind in a negative way.
The show has been very well written. A little weak in season 4 IMO, but it bounced back nicely in season 5.
My daughter was at a comic convention and got her photo taken with Glenn and Herschel. They watched and no time for autographs or talking - just run in, take a photo, and out.
Except when my daughter turned to leave Glenn stopped her and said “Oh hey, I like your haircut.” (She was in seventh heaven!)
LOL, I’ll bet she loved that.
I think that's kinda the point of the living in the Zombie Apocalypse.
We must have started watching it around the same time! I will say I didn’t like Daryl AT ALL first season (guessing he was like his brother). However, he is now my favorite character. Waiting patiently for season 5...
I’m just glad there is some stuff to watch in the meantime.
Defiance has really upped their game this season and its a good thing because after last season I was about done.
The final season of Falling Skies starts next weekend.
SYFY has rolled out 2 new space sci fi shows. (Kill Joys and Dark Matter)
Season 6 is next:)
Its funny ‘cuz I watched the first episode and told my wife and kids that they should watch it. (”Oh great - have to watch one of dad’s stupid shows.” While my wife is saying “I don’t care to watch a show about zombies.”)
Of course now they (and my wife) are way more into it than I am.
