GOOD FOR YOU!!! As a fifty year, 2-3 pack a day ex-smoker, I know how tough it is to quit.

I'm rooting for you. Every time you get the urge, and it's a powerful urge, just say to your self, "I'll wait five more minutes." That helped me a bunch.

Because...a dictator can force the Catholic religion to reject their own tenets of their faith in order to compel compliance with his legislative fiats.

Because...a dictator can shut off access to the residence he occupies under the phony guise of “sequestration” costs.

Malevolence often comes disguised as benevolence. Totalitarianism often comes disguised as populism. Leftism comes disguised as liberalism. And tyranny...doesn’t appear at your doorstep suddenly. You invite it in with open arms, until one day you realize what you have done.

And, by then...it is too late.

+ Presidential Decision Directive 51 (especially alarming)
+ The National Defense Resource Preparedness Act (authority to declare peacetime martial law)

I’m not the greatest at math, but to me that quickly adds up to tyranny, dick-tator ship and untold misery for the likes of us.

Boston.com needs to get with it. Miller didn't get ousted. He voluntarily resigned as his temporary job was soon ending.

He predicts Dems in the Senate will lose 50 seats in the midterms.

That would certainly be nice. Maybe help set this country back on the straight and narrow path. If the Republicans have the House and Senate and grow some cojones, in two years we can make significant progress despite the Marxist in the White House.

2. Another sentence from the article:

"The project," said CDC, "is intended to improve community preparedness and response and to strengthen resiliency, which will reduce injury related morbidity and mortality in public health emergencies and strengthen community and national recovery in the aftermath."

Uhh... isn't that what FEMA was created for? I'll bet money there's already a FEMA program like this.

3. $600,000 for three years is $200,000/year. When's the last time you heard of the Feds doing anything for only $200,000 a year?
