A word to the wise: If you're thinking about moving to SC, good for you. If you're a politically progressive rat, shame on you; leave your radical politics at home. SC is a RED state and damn proud of it. If you're a conservative, welcome. Always room for more.

i don’t see that as a win for us because it’s mostly progressive yankees who move here in retirement due to weather and lower living costs. Nextdoor digest is almost all yankees here and they complain a lot about christian things in the public square......We should pas a law they retired yankees can only vote by mail-in in the state where they actually worked
