Bishop Castle, 46 years in the making, which one man dedicated his life to building, has been turned over to a new owner. A frequent visitor of the castle and friend of the creator is now in charge but the family who built the attraction says they were conned into signing over the deed. DENVER - Colorado’s state senate president, who already faces a recall election in September, is now being called a puppet for an East Coast agenda in a new commercial. The 30 second ad produced by the National Association for Gun Rights asks “Who’s pulling John Morse’s Strings?”

A recent Pueblo Chieftain article about the recall effort of state Sen. Angela Giron quoted the senator as stating she believes that effort is in part, racially motivated due to her Mexican heritage. I believe that Ms. Giron is using the race card to distract the voters in District 3 from the facts that have been the basis for the recall effort. The senator, as well as many in District 3 believe that the whole recall issue is about the gun laws she supported. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A recall petition against a Colorado lawmaker who supported gun control laws was deemed sufficient Tuesday, setting up the first potential recall of a state lawmaker in Colorado history.
