“And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.”

When Turkey built the dam there was concern downstream they’d do this and Turkey (a different government) swore it would never happen. Look for an attack on the dam next.

Nope.Rev. 16:12 is in the tribulation. We have a way to go yet. Besides, this is Turkey, not God drying up the river.

The problem with blowing up a dam because you need the water is that you most likely live downstream and will get flooded

An attack on the dam is likely. It would flood Bagdad.

As King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes, “There is nothing new under the sun.”

In 539 B.C., Cyrus the Great of Persia diverted the Euphrates, allowing his army to crawl under the city walls and conquer Babylon.

"...you most likely live downstream and will get flooded"

None of the inbreds over there are bright enough to figure that out until it actually happens.

Oh I know that. I just thought it was an interesting coincidence that the Euphrates is quite capable of being dried up.

Lots of folks think that Revelation is just allegory, and that those things could NEVER really happen.
