The Democrats have become victims of their own program of indoctrination. In other words, they believe their own sh*t.
They are like the cocaine dealers who start using their own product and, once addicted, start screwing up their own business model due to their addiction.
IIRC, the 911 Commission Report went right up to the edge of concluding that the CIA had actionable intelligence about the 911 attacks. Though the 911 Commission Report did not accuse the CIA of knowing the exact day of the attack in advance, it did conclude that the CIA could have and should have known, given the intel it had, that this attack was imminent.
This has been addressed by many former CIA officers (that the CIA had enough intel to act but didn't).
Failures of intel operations are not rare. Even Mossad has admitted that it was aware of an attack by Hamas before it happened.
Israeli officials obtained Hamas’s battle plan for the Oct. 7 terrorist attack more than a year before it happened, documents, emails and interviews show. But Israeli military and intelligence officials dismissed the plan as aspirational, considering it too difficult for Hamas to carry out.
I have seen podcasts where retired and ex-CIA officers spoke on this extensively. Triggernometry has had guests on from the CIA (retired/ex) and even the MI5 that have spoken about this.
This is pretty common knowledge that the U.S. intel community knew this was coming and failed to act.
Unfortunately, you'll have to do your own research, but it shouldn't be too difficult to accomplish because of the large volume of anecdotal evidence.
I watched a recent Triggernometry podcast where an ex-CIA officer said that the CIA is as Woke as any liberal university (due mostly to the fact that most CIA employees are relatively recent grads of those universities).

People here vote. People here have families and friends who vote. Those families and friends know people who vote.
On top of that, there are still a lot of lurkers who get their news from FR and read the comments. Those people are influenced by what they read here.
How do I know this?
I have family and friends who lurk here. And they are influenced by what they read. I get a lot of my news from FR. I am influenced by what I read here...and that includes what I read in the comments.
Complaining is contagious. When people whine and complain about a candidate to family and friends, those people are less inclined to work for that candidate when it comes to knocking on doors, donating money, and/or encouraging their fellow workers, friends, and family to vote for him.
Do I believe that Free Republic and the people here make a difference? Absolutely. I know they do.
You are apparently unaware of the history of Free Republic and Freepers and their influence.
BTW, we are no longer in the primary season. Trump is the nominee. So when people on our side complain about Trump, it just gives ammo to the Democrats.
Biden doesn't understand economics. To Democrats, economics is merely something that gets in the way of their vote-buying programs.
If Biden DID understand economics, he would know that moms and dads who put food on the family dinner table know more about economics than people who get PhDs in it (and certainly more than idiot politicians).
