resident Biden dismissed polls showing voters disapprove of his handling of the economy and trust former President Trump more on the issue Wednesday.
"We've already turned it around," Biden insisted when asked by CNN host Erin Burnett about low consumer confidence about the economy, including housing costs going up, real income adjusted for inflation going down, and weak economic growth since Biden took office.
Biden cited a survey indicating the American people "think their nation is not in good shape, but they’re personally in good shape," before asserting, "The polling data has been wrong all along."
He knocked polling methodology, asking, "CNN, how many folks you have to call to get one response?"
"The idea that we’re in a situation where things are so bad, folks — I mean, we’ve created more jobs. We’ve made — we’re in a situation where people have access to good-paying jobs," the president said.
While he conceded that inflation is "really worrisome to people," he continued to tout his administration's record on the economy.
"When I started this administration, people were saying there was going to be a collapse of the economy. We have the strongest economy in the world. Let me say that again - in the world," he said.
Biden denied Burnett's assertion that last week's GDP fell "far short of expectations." and pointed to "the response of the market."

Of all the presidents in my time, this vegetable is by far the most tone deaf. Incredible. On the other hand, his Fake News Media will do all it can to push a narrative to match his. But where the rubber meets the road; at the gas station, at the grocery stores, when folks get their utility bills, no one will believe him.
Gropin' Joe finally admits that the election was stolen.
Keep in mind..... all of Biden’s political braggadaccio was pre-planned months ago.
At that time he figured waging eternal lawfare would have Trump safely out of the way
and he ....Bidumb..... would have the political bragging field all to himself.
But, much to his dismay, Trump is still in there.....
winning all the polls.......and pestering him to debate.
How hollow and vainglorious Bidumb sounds against that backdrop.
I’ll make three observations:
1. Compared to four years ago....the news media is ‘stagnant’ and their ability to sell a ‘brand/message’ has dropped like a rock.
2. Podcast folks (taking the place of the news/social media) aren’t giving Biden or his fake-success stories much of a spin.
3. From the inner circle of the White House...say the forty people who matter....they can’t seem to lift Joe and his campaign. They get interview time and open access to the public...then crap all over the opportunity.
The RFK ‘fit’? By telling the worm-story this week...he wiped out half his votes. He may still take 2 or 3 million votes, but zero chance of taking any EC votes. So unless Joe switches out or admits some health issue to vacate...he’s the Dem candidate.
Demented and delusional is not a good combo for a POTUS.

If Biden DID understand economics, he would know that moms and dads who put food on the family dinner table know more about economics than people who get PhDs in it (and certainly more than idiot politicians).

Biden doesn’t understand economics because he has never had to. Like most professional politicians, they have people for that, like paying their bills.
I think biden believes the BS he is pushing because he lives in a bubble and believes what his handlers tell him what is going on. Add to that the biden family is doing very well with all the money they get from China and other countries.
