Things like this make me want to go out and buy every book out there written by a conservative. But that would be spending money I don’t have, thus making me a liberal, so I’ll stick to borrowing most from the library.
I lived for a number of years not far from Chadds Ford and was an huge admirer of his work. I’d say save Nick Santoleri, Wyeth was my favorite artist from that area.
a good high skool student could have his college education pre-paid.
My first response when asked this question is always no, but I might actually be willing to get behind it if that was the case. Rather than paying the students directly, tell them that the money they earn will be placed in a college fund for them. With all the money (grants, loans, etc) already out there that a student can get anyway, the money would be a wash in the end and the student might earn better grades along the way.
A paper to be published in March in Social Sciences Journal by economists David E. Kalist and Daniel Y. Lee of Shippensburg University found that unpopular first names, when mixed with factors like a disadvantaged home life, can increase the tendency toward juvenile delinquency...
This is crap. I deal with adjudicated juvenile males on a daily basis and none of their problems stem from their names. 99.9% of them have "everyday" names.
While I think the parents were irresponsible for naming their children the names they did, I don't think that's any reason to remove the children from the home.
