News of the passing of notorious football legend and actor O.J. Simpson has dominated headlines across the United States. However, it appears that at least one outlet still had one name on its mind when it came to writing his obituary, that of former President Donald Trump. The LA Times posted an obituary for the former San Francisco 49ers running back Thursday after Simpson’s family announced his death. However, the Times incorrectly named Trump as the man who left Lovelock Correctional Facility after incarceration in 2017, according to an archived version of their report.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are investigating a reported shooting at the victory rally for the Kansas City Chiefs at Union Station. The Kansas City Fire Department confirmed a shooting happened and is calling it a "fluid situation." Kansas City poliec say shots were fired west of Union Station and "several people" were struck. Fox News host Brian Kilmeade, whose Saturday time slot was bumped this week in favor of another hour of Mark Levin, reportedly texted the wrong number when he meant to message Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott about the decision. The network announced on Thursday that Levin’s program “Life, Liberty & Levin” would expand to an additional night per week, taking over Kilmeade’s slot on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET. This lineup change will become official on Sept. 16. According to journalist Marisa Kabas, Kilmeade sent the message by mistake to a different Suzanne, who he used to work with.

A mystery woman rang the doorbell of an Oklahoma home and quizzed the owner about being a Republican because he had Fourth of July decorations on his lawn. Surveillance footage of the July 8th incident shows the woman walk up to Pascal Quintero's home located in the area of South Janeway Avenue and ring his doorbell. After Quintero answers the door, the stranger asks him about his political affiliation and his independence-themed decorations - an American flag, patriotic banners and an inflatable Uncle Sam character riding a firework. She then blames him for not being able to get an abortion.

Covid finally got me. I'm in my 60s and never received the jab. I felt lousy the first 24 hours but feel pretty good now. A video provided to DeSantis’ office and shared with Fox News Digital shows the migrants deboarding the planes at Martha’s Vineyard Airport in Massachusetts, the office said. A man affiliated with ISIS is under arrest for his participation in an alleged plot to assassinate former President George W. Bush. "An Iraqi citizen living in Columbus, Ohio, has been charged federally with an immigration crime and with aiding and abetting a plot to murder former United States President George W. Bush," the Justice Department said in a press release on Tuesday. The statement added that Shihab originally came to the United States in September 2020 on a visitor visa and filed for asylum in March 2021 which is pending review.
