Jesse Watters has been named the permanent host of the 7 p.m. ET timeslot on Fox News Channel with a new hour-long program "Jesse Watters Primetime," FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott announced on Monday.
"Jesse’s versatility and hosting acumen has grown exponentially over the last five years, and he has developed a deep connection to the audience through two hit shows The Five and Watters’ World. We look forward to watching him expand his connection even further through this new solo weeknight hour," Scott said.
Watters, who co-hosts the wildly successful "The Five" and the weekend program "Watters’ World," will take over the "Fox News Primetime" slot that has been filled by rotating guest hosts since the network shook up its programming lineup last year.

I prefer not to throw out the baby with the bath water......fortunately FOX has choices on who you want to hear or not. And Fox Business is always good.
Haven’t watched Fox in nearly two years. I do not like the formats nor most of the host’s personalities. Most of their content is a qualified OK, but all the yelling and talking over each other is tiresome to me.
And frankly, they are singing to the choir. Most who watch Fox and other conservative outlets have similar beliefs. We are all pretty set in our beliefs at this point. I learn nothing from them that I don’t from other sources (such as FR) who are not trying to entertain me with the same old songs.
And, ho-boy do I miss Rush Hudson Limbaugh!!

I agree with most of what you said, and I’m really not a fan of Watters. He has that obnoxious smugness that most of the prime time hosts have.
But I still watch Fox News most days. I like Hemmer from 9-12, but unfortunately they chose to team him with Perino. I watch F&F weekends and I really like Bream whose show starts at midnight on weekdays. Levin’s show at 8 pm ET on Sundays and Bartiromo’s show on Sunday morning are 2 of the best interview shows on TV.
They fired Lou Dobbs in February of this year and they still have the plumpkin Cavuto. They suck.
Exactly. Does not matter who is in the clown seat, Faux is not worth turning to.
I like him also, but I REALLY liked ALL the different guest hosts......Lawrence Jones, Ben Domenich, Rachel Duffy, etc..
I think this was a mistake in naming a PERMANENT host.
He's the only economist who makes sense.....

Jesse and Greg are the onlyFox shows after 9:00am I watch.
