Makes me wonder if the TV series based on the "Fallout" game is on to something where the major domos that control everything started an atomic war just to "thin the herd." After that at some point they would re-emerge from the Vaults to take over and start their "utopia." Anyone want to come over and watch "Captain Cosmos with Jangles, The Moon Monkey?" B-) Seriously, makes you wonder if art is imitating life to tell us something.

Even my father said, “he’d never fight for this country as it stands right now” and then he adds, “this is coming from a veteran who joined the Army on his 17th birthday” and later went to Korea in 1955 and even had a top secret clearance at that age. Sad, ain’t it?

In 1981, I remember my 8th grade social studies teacher, a Marine, said to us that “when you go to bed tonight, get up tomorrow, go to school and then go home and then go to bed again, the U.S. has spent one billion dollars.”

I was born in 1966. Soon after my parents divorced in 1976, Mom bought a 1977 Mercury Cougar for $5600 with a $97 monthly payment. Dad did the same with a 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix for $5500 with a similar payment. At $6000, Mom thought the Ford Granada was too expensive. I saw poster in 7th grade, 1979/80 where if the average person tool all their average salary in 1979 to buy a car, in the USA, he/she could pay it off in 5 months, the UK in 6 months but in the USSR, it was likw 10 to 11 years. I felt good to be in the Western USA/UK bloc, I was so proud of that.

I'm part of Generation Jones, although we remember the good life, we are the first to really experience a downturn in living standards especially when it comes to our old age. I understand how Generation Z feels screwed, it started with us mainly as the lefties push their agenda. I was talking to a 19/20 year old young lady, she is of Generation Z but knew and understood how the lefties destroyed America. Many Zer's get that but sadly, not all do. I told her that we Jonesers are the first to experience that too so I do understand. Still she said at least she wished she could have experienced the 1980's like I did. I know I'll be 58 this year but I started to flirt a little and said, “you know what, I wish I could take you back with me to 1985 after I graduated high school (I graduated on a Friday, started work Monday) where I be back to my 18/19 year old self, we'd hop in my Grand Prix (Dad gave me the Grand Prix in 1983) when he bought a Caddy Seville), pick up some of my buddies and drive to Philly to see Live Aid. Like me, she loved Genesis, Queen and so on. Back then, we knew who we are, or were, not now. I told her I feel sorry for the Zer's.

I remember one story where a Pittsburgher and his friends watched the FRanco Harris Immaculate Reception game in December of 1972 on an old late 1940’s era TV with rabbit ears because the local stations in Pittsburgh were blacked out since not all seats in Three River’s Stadium were not sold out. They were trying to pull in WJAC from Johnstown, PA on channel 6 since it was out of the blackout zone to watch the game.

Let’s just take one of Tesla’s electric semis as an example. The truck supposedly has a battery capacity of 900 kWH. So to fully recharge it from 0 in one hour it would require a charger with an output of 900 kW. So let’s say we have a truck stop with 10 charging stations for electric semis. And let’s assume for planning purposes that at some point all 10 will be in use at the same time. That would be an electrical demand of 9,000 kW or 9 MW. That my friends is the same as a small-medium size factory. Multiply that scenario hundreds of times and you can see the potential problem. And that’s just for semis.

I remember reading the same thing in 1979 about this in the January/February 1980 issue of Elementary Electronics in the Q and A column, "Ask Hank, He Knows." The answer is muich the same as you posted here:

    What an Outlet

My friend's father invested in a new electric car that he says "Detroit" is trying to suppress. It's a small car that can range up to 150 miles from home and return, and recharge in five minutes due to its very unique battery system. Isn't it a crime how new energy saving systems are being shot down?

    -L.A., Westland, WI

If all that you say about the car is true, then think of this: assume the car's motor is rated at 40 horse power -remember, you said a small car. Assume it is run at 50 mph for the full range of the car (300 miles.) In six hours of driving, the car uses up 11,040 watt hours of energy. To replace their energy in five minutes would require an AC oulet at your home that can deliver about 92 ampere hours or approximately 1100 am- peres for 5 minutes. Just imagine the size of your house wiring. Remember, when charging a battery, you must replace every kilowatt hour of energy that was used. Also, I did not get into the matter of efficiency and heat in the battery system. A very high current charge produces excessive heat -the battery may even glow! That's not too good for the battery. Look again into the facts, you may have your information jumbled.

The West is dead. We won’t see them stand up against Islamofascism. Many nations in the West may not survive 20 years from now. Sweden? France? Canada? They may all fall to Muslims.

I think because of World War II, there was such a knee jerk reaction that pushed the pendulum so far that any pride in the West is seen as being like a fascist or a Nazi and the left has hooked on to this. We also lost a lot of good men and people during the two wars too. I do fear what I see is going on in Europe, Canada and even here with losing our culture to massive immigration, especially Islam. I don't buy the multi-cultural line at all, many times, I believe borders and fences do make good neighbors or at least not all cultures are made to be mixed together.

At some point, there will be a latter day Charles Martel(s) who will rise up, the question is when. Like Claire Wolfe, when are we past that awkward stage? I did talk to a school teacher who had a couple of exchange students from Germany. They said their parents hate seeing what is going on in Germany but they are afraid to speak up about but she went on where the kids say, "we will take care of them when we get older."

I will never understand how thinking women would ever be part of this...

Me neither but I think it is one or both of two things. Number One, "the battered wife syndrome." Number Two, they are seeking a powerful, dominate male figure to satisfy some psychological need.

I recommend all Jewish people arm themselves. Forget this BS about gun control, trying to fit in by becoming Democrats, etc. Get a gun and a permit and protect yourself.

My cousin is pro-gun but I'd would have given him a B+ grade but since this happened, he's on the pro-gun wagon all the way.

Seriouisly, as time goes on, unless I can truly vet and investigate as well as listen to my gut to decide if a practitioner of Islam is OK or not, I can't fully trust them, if at all. I'm sure there are good ones, some, few, out there but like Glenn Beck says, the time to choose which side you are on is now and inaction is not the answer. They have the ball on their side of the court and the 24 second clock has started. In the meantime, Israel and others need to go in and stop the monkeyshines from Hamas.
