As a Congressman, I don't mind being heckled, booed, shouted down or called a Nazi. It comes with the territory. What I found troubling about the forum at UMass was that many of my constituents who came with meaningful questions and concerns about the legislation were also insulted and prevented from speaking. My wife, a physician for more than 30 years, just got off the phone with AARP (which should be called CRAP for its support of Obama's health care grab). She gave the woman who said the phone was ringing off the hook today with members canceling out because of the organization's support for Managed Death Noncare.
