For the past week my smoke detector (electric w. battery backup) has starting rapidly beeping at exactly the same time every day and then stops after 10 minutes. Twenty four hours later it starts again. My batteries are new and this is one of 3 detectors. The others are fine.

I cannot connect to one website using Firefox or Internet Explorer. All other websites go through just fine. I was able to connect with the problem website from another PC today so the problem is mine,not the site's.

Kanye West doesn’t care about black people. Neither does anyone in the Democratic Party, not even the black ones. For decades, Democrats have been pandering to black voters without delivering much in their favor. Saying pretty things like, “We understand you,” and proposing policies that openly sympathize with their historical struggle, they won over the hearts and minds of America’s blacks. Much to the disbelief of those on the left, it is the Republican Party that has continually promoted the welfare of blacks the most effectively.

My grandaughter,out of the blue last week,said she wished that Kerry was president. When I asked her why,she really had no response,she's in third grade after all. She then said everyone in her class wished Kerry was president(no surprise there in a very liberal schools system).
