A frightened dog stuck on a frozen Cambridge reservoir was rescued yesterday after spending several days on the ice evading attempts to bring her ashore.

I was wondering if the hunger, thirst, cold and fear didn’t temporarily make the doggie a little nutty. Perhaps survival mode went into affect period. I am sure once he is home with food, warmth, water, and lots of treats... he will be his old self again. Just a thought.
