Perhaps we will also learn of all the “cosmetic” surgeries of members of Congress. Nancy Pelosi, one of many Frankensteins, of modern medicine will be an interesting case.

I read on another post that some of the level of vitriol by the Dems against Cain is a consequence of his confrontation of Clinton during Hilary Care. The Dems are looking for revenge as well. That conversation had a great impact on Hilary Care not passing. It may not have been a coincidence that some democratic operatives suddenly found themselves in jobs with the Illinois and National Restaurant Associations

If, this orchestrated by Axlerod, one has to wonder about the timing.
    Why now?
So that the other GOP candidates would be suspect? Or to deflect some future personal revelations against Obama?

Historically, a tax on a product has reduced the demand for a product. For example, glass was not widely used in homes until the tax on glass was reduced in England. I will concede that proposed tree tax is minimal. However, it seems possible the compliance and paperwork that the tree industry will have to provide to comply with the new tax will exceed the revenue brought in from the tax. Next year the tax will probably increase and there will be a new regulations attached to the purchase of trees. Money from the government always has strings attached....and the government rarely gets the bad end of the deal.

This is basically a tax on one religious group. Did Obama really ever pass the bar? I mean on his own. A guy who needs a teleprompter to say “It's raining outside” probably had to have some help all along the way. It just strains the credibility index that Obama really has any understanding of U S Law.

That “monster” quote really irked me. I think Karen Kraushaar is a monster for being a party to the return of Elian back to Cuba after his mother gave her life to get him out of that Communist cess pool. No woman who is a mother would think that this Karen Kraushaar character is any sort of spokeswoman for mothers. She is a monster. No woman who had any sympathy for the sacrifice Elian’s mother made can ever consider herself any sort of martyr for women...she is exactly the opposite.

Since none of them have come out and defended Cain in any substantive way, it seems that doing the honorable thing would be inconsistent.

I believe that the Mossad has an extraordinary intelligence resource. I have wondered here on FR for several years why they haven’t shared some of their knowledge on the very murky past of Obama. England and Israel surely understand that Obama does not see them as playing on the same team as he does...at what point do they allow some of their intelligence to surface?

It’s not only the Democrats who want Mr. Cain out of the race. He has run an unconventional campaign and a lot of the “good old boy” campaign support network wants him gone as well. Rove has been particularly prominent in his disdain for all things Cain. The entitled “good old boy” campaign support group has as much to lose with a successful Cain campaign as any candidate.

It was a holiday and my family was coming home and I was so terribly excited, but I heard the news about Elian and I literally threw up from disgust that our government would force him back to Cuba after his mother gave her life for him to come here. Anyone associated with that dark episode of American history should be ashamed and hang their head in shame forever. By any means necessary is the mantra of the Communists.....I seem to believe this woman lives by this code of ethics and nothing else.

Good question. It relies on other financial enterprises, such as the Kaplan education studies, to support its “news” enterprise. The Washington Post needs academia and feeds into the vast education bubble.

Thanks for the link. It was an excellent article. Thoughtful. Experienced voice. I was a big fan of Fred Thompson in the Presidential race. I liked his message. He would have beaten Obama, I believe. I like Romney even less than before. Why does Romney want to be President so much???????

    I disagree.
One of the things that is most despicable about the Cain frenzy is the desire for the confidentiality agreements to be opened.
A dangerous precedent against the rule-of-law that we know the current White House occupier has taken electoral advantage of in the past. A request that the restaurant association pass on the confidentiality agreements undermines any legal agreement the association has made. It is dangerous territory.
Some people have long memories and they will sit out an election rather than vote for people who did not stand up and show some integrity.
Republicans are not the same robots that the Democrats are. Although Perry and Romney really are more Democrat-lite than Republican....but maybe that is what the Democrats have been counting on all along.

Do you know what I think is really dishonorable? That neither the Perry nor the Romney campaigns came out against the vagueness of the Politico charges against Cain. It is this type of “gotcha” journalism that keeps decent people out of politics. And neither the Romney camp nor the Perry camp has spoken out against sullying reputations nor the feeding frenzy of this type of story. Why haven’t they said, let’s get beck to the issues? They seem culpable because of their lack of spine in this matter to me. They seem to be enjoying their “fellow” Republican get accused of vague charges. Perry and Romney seem to have forgotten that we are fighting a bigger fight than amongst each other.

We are in uncharted waters, with no real comparison to the leaders of other countries.
The productive half of the United States has come to believe that we have a either an exceptionally incompetent President or one who is purposefully undermining the Republic. Whichever, or whatever combination of the two, it is glaringly obvious that our country cannot survive the Presidency of Obama. He will steadfastly continue on his path of either planned destruction of our country or woeful negligence and self-awareness of the dreadful policies he espouses.
We are in uncharted waters. We have a President who is destroying our country... and a press that is complicit in the willful destruction or is even more naive to believe the follies of agenda the current administration proposes will have anything but negative repercussions.
We have extraordinary ineptness or willful destruction or some bizarre combination of the two guiding the country and we cannot withstand that storm.

I guess he got a lot of the food money and none of the money for walking around...the left talks a lot about “fairness”, but he is proof that some lefties get more of some things than others...he definitely doesn’t share his wealth of food and evidently Michelle’s healthy eating message hasn’t gotten to him.

Not only were they bused in, they were given walking around money...hundreds of dollars per day in some instances..money for showing up, money for food, money to spend at the casinos in the state, as the buses made casino stops on the way home. Don't underestimate the influence Indian gaming has had on the politics of Wisconsin. And don't be naive to believe that all the gaming interests are all within the sovereignty of the reservations. Organized crime/unions saw an opportunity when gaming became legal and there is a real presence here in various degrees at the casinos.

The lack of enthusiasm on the other side, may discourage a few to not vote, but many will never vote for someone with an “R” beside their name. The self-identity that being a Dem is “cool” and “intelligent” is hard-wired into the brain of Dems. Democrats are more afraid of being part of the uncool crowd than they are aware of the implications of their votes.

I was thinking that anytime any one sporting an Obama bumper sticker on their Volt, Volvo, Subaru, Scion or Prius makes some sort of traffic no-no that they should be reported to the site.
Isn’t driving erratically with an Obama bumper sticker on the car disrespectful to the won?
I live in a town with a lot of Obama stickers on cars and I can tell you that it is like a warning that bad driving is about to be witnessed. It is really like a public service notice to have an Obama bumper sticker for other drivers to watch out.
And BTW, my neighbor was walking around with an Obama t-shirt on last week, should I report her? She’s a grandma and I think anyone who is less than model perfect is dissing Obama by donning apparel with his logo on it.

Obama suffers from “willful ignorance”. His socialist ideology depends upon being “willfully ignorant”. It is a club of malcontents and destroyers aligned by a desire to punish rather than remedy.
