Is Barack Obama the American Neil Kinnock?
Telegraph ^ | September 20th, 2011 | Nile Gardiner

When liberal politicians run out of ideas and are sinking in the polls faster than a holed U-boat in the North Atlantic they invariably return to the tired old clichés of class warfare – tax the rich, the wealthy must pay up their “fair share”, ruthless hedge fund managers are earning millions off the backs of the poor, etc. As the president put it while defending his American Jobs Act yesterday, using the term “fair” no less than 13 times

...

Barack Obama reminds me of Michael Foot and Neil Kinnock when they were Labour Party leaders in the 1980s, both out of touch politicians stuck in the language of class war, and devoid of any real ideas to create jobs and generate wealth. Back in June 1983, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher had a terrific response to the rather pathetic class war warriors of the Labour Left

...

What the president cannot face is the fact that his Left-wing agenda simply does not work, and is being increasingly rejected by the American public. This is a presidency in denial over the failures of its own policies. It has overwhelmingly lost the war of ideas and is resorting to the politics of fear and desperation

I don’t know.
Is Neil Kinnock a stuttering, incompetent, Kenyan born communist?

Very sad indeed. When you are stuck on stupid, what’s left? No pun intended.

He’s America’s Salvador Allende, or in a more recent vein America’s Hugo Chavez.

We are in uncharted waters, with no real comparison to the leaders of other countries.
The productive half of the United States has come to believe that we have a either an exceptionally incompetent President or one who is purposefully undermining the Republic. Whichever, or whatever combination of the two, it is glaringly obvious that our country cannot survive the Presidency of Obama. He will steadfastly continue on his path of either planned destruction of our country or woeful negligence and self-awareness of the dreadful policies he espouses.
We are in uncharted waters. We have a President who is destroying our country... and a press that is complicit in the willful destruction or is even more naive to believe the follies of agenda the current administration proposes will have anything but negative repercussions.
We have extraordinary ineptness or willful destruction or some bizarre combination of the two guiding the country and we cannot withstand that storm.

No. If he were American, he’d be our Raila Odinga.

"Innocent incompetence" could not have produced a record of 100% wrong decisions. He would have lucked out on a nominal percentage of his actions. For ALL of his actions to be 100% detrimental to the economy is so far beyond belief, the only reasonable conclusion is that his destructive actions were planned and deliberate. See Cloward-Piven. Saul Alinsky.

I wouldn’t say that. I think Neil is a decent fellow.

His wife Glenys Kinnock is much more attractive, and if you see a photo of her you'd realize what a mindboggling statement that is.

Kinnock’s son is married to the new leftist PM of Denmark.

From the Telegraph -

Thorning-Schmidt is expected to try to form a centre-left coalition to replace Denmark's Liberal-Conservative government of outgoing Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen.

The 44-year-old, who is married to Lord Kinnock’s son Stephen, has promised to turn the economy around and kick start growth by investing in education and infrastructure to create jobs.

Addressing victorious Social Democratic Party members last night, Ms Thorning-Schidmt said: “Today is the day things change in Denmark. This evening we’ve shown that the Social Democrats are a big and driving force in Denmark. We’ve written history today.”

Do the words sound familiar? Spend more govt. money.

He is also somewhat of a tax cheat, working in Switzerland and paying Swiss taxes instead of the higher Danish taxes...
