Hillary has not noticed, but global warming barely even registers on the voters' radar. Nobody believes it, nobody cares. Hillary is preaching to the choir and even they are tired of it. Algore already is a laughingstock and not just here on FR. Hillary risks her credibility, such as it is, by harping on this red herring.

Climate Change is just a liberal politician's code word for there are too many people. Need to reduce population, somehow, anyhow...even with fake Ebola scares... and worse.

I live in Duncan. Our mayor is a fine black gentleman. This crime is ripping the heart out of many here because Duncan is a peaceful town. It is largely a very Christian and religious town. Most people attend Church each weekend. And all of the restaurants are pitching in to raise money for the victims family.

Here is one suggestion:
The family and girlfriend of Chris should immediately hire an attorney to bring a RICO conspiracy suite against Sharpton, Jackson, Holder, Oprah, Obama, the Florida DA and NBC for say $1 billion for creating the conditions that led to this behavior. The suit should be brought in Federal District court in Oklahoma City with a jury trial. The anger evident in the comments here and on the Blaze is just the tip of the iceberg of the disgust that real Americans, black and white, sense deeply about the race baiting of the racial hate proponents that laid the foundation for the egregious criminality in this case.

I live in Duncan. Only the second murder in maybe 3 or 4 years. It is a pretty quiet town. Most people go to church on Sunday. The murder has shocked this town to its core.

1400 feet per minute is a VERY high sink rate that close to the runway for any airplane. I question how that information was obtained. But assuming it is correct, why did that happen? Only two possibilities short of intentional pilot nefariousness: stall or microburst. I suppose the pilot could have been exhausted and allowed the plane to get too slow and stall. Or an unexpected microburst could have cropped up and forced the plane to descend too fast and hit the seawall. In either case, that anyone survived is pretty miraculous...

There IS something in the Constitution about succession in office. If Obama is forced out and then Biden, then the Speaker becomes president.

We're not going to vote for a Mormon, or anybody else that belongs to a cult. We're also not going to vote for any more liberals. We had enough of that with Bush. This isn't rocket science.

I thought the article was very, very insightful. As for your gratuitous comments about Mormons and cults, they remain gratuitous and bigoted. Some, like you, may remain bigoted. That is your prerogative. Others, such as the Forbes author, are looking at fundamental issues that shaped, or in this case, misshaped the entire Romney campaign. The lessons here are fundamental to all future national campaigns and elections. In the meantime, these insights can inform conservative policies and conservative messaging.

I say get to know some real Mormons in your area (we don't bite, we aren't zombies, many of us are very educated, we do think for ourselves, and we testify that Christ is the living Son of the living God) Most of all, it is high time for all of us to learn the kind of political lessons espoused in this article.

Besides, the issue is NOT "who you are NOT going to vote for," the issue is how can conservatives build a strong legislative foundation and craft policy messages that will resonate with the majority of groups, including single women, minorities and immigrants, that will sweep away the perverse illogic of redistribution and socialist liberals.

Finally, there are better ways of building strong coalitions of like-minded patriots than labeling natural allies with slanderous names. Of course, you and your allies can flame on, but that isn't going to win elections or improve the destiny of the United States of America.

I disagree completely!!! Obama was well aware of what was going on. He and Biden were play acting so as to shift suspicion from the political malfeasance they and the MSM had orchestrated. My evidence? When Valerie Jarett was firing up her troops 3 or 4 days before the election, when the momentum was clearly going to Mitt, she spoke in no uncertain terms, "When we win the election." They knew. They all knew. The fix was in. This has been a complete takeover by folks who know exactly what they are doing.

Romney attempted to have Mormonism imposed upon his deceased father-in-law via a 1993 Salt Lake City religious baptism-for-the-dead ritual... ...see: Confirmed: Romney family had Ann Romney's atheist father posthumously baptized into the Mormon...

Pray tell how that was an imposition. The man was dead. His daughter, Ann, is obviously a person of great compassion and love. If the practice in the Mormon Church is foolish, it won't matter. If it is valid, then the deceased father-in-law will either rejoice or simply reject it. Deceased spirits retain their God given agency.

In any event, read Corinthians. The practice is rather biblical. Read 1 Corinthians 15:29 where Paul is persuading listeners about resurrection by referring to the practice of performing baptism ordinances by proxy for those who deceased without baptism.

Moreover, what a contrast in compassion and comfort to the all too typical denunciation and pastoral claim of hellfire for anyone who died without baptism. The clearest contrast is with those who claim little children who die without baptism will go straight to hell or purgatory. Such a practice would seem to mock the love and justice of God.

It is nice to see the comments about Mitt on this thread. There has been so much paranoia over the last few months, it is refreshing. Obviously, his performance will be scrutinized over the next few months, as well it should. I have been intrigued by his many comments of working with both parties and reaching across the isle. That can be both good and ominous. For now, I am praying that the Lord will answer all the prayers of those who love this country and want it preserved as a free country.

The other day we attended a political chile cook-off here in Duncan, Oklahoma. Of interest, there was a video team here for the weekend from SVT, the Swedish Public TV network. They were here in the most Republican of States, and in the most Republican of counties in Oklahoma, to capture the flavor of the local support for Romney.

Naturally, there were a number of local candidates at this event, each with their own table serving their own homemade chile. Coincidentally, that night my wife and I were invited to man the table serving chile for, and representing, the Romney campaign. Anyway, during the event I was interviewed by the Swedish video team. Its not creepy. Its not micro-managing. Its not guilt loaded nor money sucking. And certainly not hypocrisy breeding.

It is a Church. We believe in Christ. He is the Son of the Living God. We serve others. We do our best to keep Christ's commandments. We seek to become full of charity toward others.

But you are right about the hypocrisy of the liberals trying to use intolerance to further their political agenda.
