Started reading it myself. Have already been told the NIPCC is just a wing of the coal industry. Not certain what the connection is myself, but that’s quite a complaint. As if the pro-global warming crowd is after nothing but the truth.

You know, I saw this report at PhysOrg, and most of the comments were mocking the idea of anthropogenic global warming. And the polls tell the story - public opinion is moving to the skeptical side.
I think it's like politically correctness. At first it seemed like it was all about being nice to people, and so everybody loved it. Then they realized it was really about shutting down political debate, and now the majority of Americans loathe the idea.
Same with global warming. Everybody wants to save the planet. But people are realizing that the movement seems to be more about political power than science, and their opinions are changing.

I remember someone on HotAir said they caught their daughter holding her breath, and when they asked her what she was doing she said she was told that carbon dioxide was killing the planet.
You might consider building your own. It’s quite easy. If you want to make sure all the parts will work together well, just buy a “barebone kit” from Tiger Direct or NewEgg, along with an operating system to install.
This is a traveling exhibit, so if any Freepers have seen it elsewhere, please comment. Web searches can also give you more information on it, like this.

Behold the power of the modern media. The average man has not, could not, experience anything that would actually indicate to him that the globe is warming because of his activities. Yet many believe it.

I'm not sure if any of you are writers, but Helium.com is currently running a contest of sorts on this issue. The top debate article published here, on the topic "Should the state of Connecticut tax plastic bags at the grocery store?", will be published in the Connecticut Post. Unfortunately they didn't give a deadline, but they just announced this today, and usually you have a few days. I'll hopefully submit an article tonight or tomorrow.
HotAir had a great little article a while back called “Leftism is racism.” Look at the actions here - discrimination on the basis of race is already illegal. So any lack of racial diversity in broadcasting that remains is only a “problem” if you believe there are some inherent and important differences between the races. And I don’t need to tell you where a belief like that could lead.
