Please Remember May 31, 2009 is the last day for pre-registration advance confirmation of your attendance at our DC Tea Party Convention.
Right now, I have close to 400 people who plan on attending BUT in order to reserve our place at a conference venue, we need to have an accurate measure of those who will be joining us.
PLEASE FREEMAIL BRYTANI If you will be attending and how many rooms you would need and the number in your party.
THIS IS NOT A CUT OFF ON CONVENTION ATTENDANCE. This is so we can receive an accurate quote from the hotel and reserve a block of rooms sufficient to meet our needs.

Our family of 6 plans to be in attendance. But we are fairly local so will not need rooms.
How many do you have so far? Just curious. I hope it is a great turn out!

I promised the last three FReepers who Freapmail Brytani to be counted in the room count will get a jar of my famous Hot Pepper Jelly! Now there is only One more room to reach our goal of 100 to have a good number to negotiate the best hotel group rate!

Hot Pepper Jelly is a jelly you eat on crackers with a little cream cheese. But I do have friends who love it on their bagels in the morning! They sell Hot Pepper Jelly in stores but I am told mine is the best! :)

When we first began planning our convention we had a goal to confirm 100 room by May 31.
As of five minutes ago this goal was met. Our 100th confirmed freeper is credo 2 (stand up and take a bow).
Please remember this does not mean we will not have room for you to attend the convention but we needed at least 100 rooms to book a block at a hotel to get the best rate.
FREEPERS ARE THE BEST!!

I also want to remind everyone that you can still let Brytani know if you plan on getting a room. We certainly can have more FReepers join us. It was important to get to the 100 room number by today to have leverage with the hotels to get the best deal.
It is also important that those who book a room elsewhere, let Brytani know you are planning to attend the Freeper Convention Events. That number is necessary to know the size banquet hall that will be needed for our Convention. :)

Key Bridge Marriott. Just accros the river in VA.
L’enfant, Holiday Inn and Henley seem to be best and closest...I would use a booking service. Just be sure to wait until you are ready to spend the money- they take it as soon as you book.

Freepers came through to meet our 100 room count for getting a good group deal. Now more folks are also committing to booking a room as soon as the hotel is chosen.
So numbers are increasing from 100!
Hope everyone also remembers that we NEED TO KNOW how many in their party will be attending the Freeper Convention Events/Banquet. Even those who may have booked a room elsewhere or staying with friends need to let us know if they will attend the Convention banquet. :)

I attended two other Freeper functions in DC several years ago - March for Justice in ‘98, and the Impeachment Dinner, as well. I was looking forward to another gathering, but sadly - am unable to go this time around.

So sorry you can't come to DC. A few Florida Freepers who attended those events you mentioned can not commit to this convention either at this time. We so hope that things might work out that by August they find that they can make it after all! You included! Jean

I have emailed Hannity, Beck, OReilly and Limbaugh asking if any of them would be there (thinks Beck prob will in a heartbeat) and asking if they would talk about it on their shows.
Can I suggest that we all do that?
