LAKEWOOD - Police in Lakewood say several people attacked and severely beat a driver whose SUV hit and killed a woman Monday night. Investigators say 41-year-old Chandra Martin was crossing Route 88 when she was hit and killed. Martin's brother witnessed the crash, which happened near her home. Several other people who witnessed the crash allegedly attacked the SUV driver. The 26-year-old Lakewood man was flown to a trauma center. Police have not made any arrests at this time.

I bought two Freedom Concert tickets several months ago for myself and Mrs. JimRed. I forgot to remind her that the concert is this weekend, and she accepted an invite to visit her best friend a few states south of us.
