Filmmaker Tyler Perry and musician Kid Rock paid off hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of Walmart layaway bills to help strangers have a happier holiday season. "I was trying to do this anonymously but due to some circumstances, y'all know nothing stays secret these days," Perry said in a Twitter video, giving the addresses of two Georgia Walmart stores where he paid off the bills. (snip) "@tylerperry Great idea! I followed your lead and paid off the layaway at my local Walmart in Nashville. Merry Christmas and God Bless You!" Kid Rock tweeted. "Today, our store got a call...

A U.S. federal judge authorized the seizure of Citgo Petroleum Corp. to satisfy a Venezuelan government debt, a ruling that could set off a scramble among Venezuela’s many unpaid creditors to wrest control of its only obviously seizable U.S. asset.

Ted Nugent on Tuesday. Dear God in heaven & damn the fakenews lying bastards! I gave the direct order tonight that guns were absolutely welcome to my concert. The media cannot be trusted. They are consumed with hate and dishonesty. We had a phenomenal concert tonight as I offered prayers for the soulless crazed hateful protesters. America be aware that the media is infested with America haters and liars. Meanwhile thank you Roanoke for a wonderful #6703 ultimate rockout! God bless you all. To hell with the lying punks. https://www.wsls.com/…/pro-gun-rocker-ted-nugent-turns-away…

Rotten, who holds American citizenship, agrees Trump shares the Sex Pistol's anti-establishment qualities. "There's many, many problems with him as a human being but he’s not [racist] and there just might be a chance something good will come out of that situation because he terrifies politicians," Rotten shared. "This is joy to behold for me. Dare I say, [he could be] a possible friend." The 61-year-old rocker also voiced his support for Brexit saying, "the working class [has spoken] and I'm one of them and I'm with them."

Sorry for the rare vanity, but I don't have an article for this. While the left's steadfast refusal to Islamic terror by that name is awful, the right's use of "radical Islamic terror" also bothers me. While it certainly is radical by Western standards, there really is nothing new or radical about ISIS, Al Qaeda and other jihadists by Islamic standards. Calling them that perpetuates the lie that they are a tiny bunch outside the norms of Islam. However just calling them "Islamic" doesn't account for the population of Muslims that don't share their goals. Today I was watching an...

Yesterday Hillary Clinton announced her VP running mate, Tim Kaine. Let me tell you how that decision looks from a persuasion standpoint. I’ll ignore Kaine’s education, experience, political preferences, and anything else that voters say they care about but don’t. Today, let’s just talk about how people will feel about it.

The marriage of political convenience between Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) was tested less than 12 hours into the honeymoon, as Kasich told reporters that he still wanted votes from his supporters in Indiana. "I’ve never told 'em not to vote for me," Kasich told reporters at a campaign stop in Philadelphia. "They ought to vote for me. But I'm not over there campaigning and spending resources."
