I don't often do vanities, so bear with me. It's pretty clear that if Trump doesn't have a majority of delegates he will have close to it an nobody else will. The GOP wants to use every dirty trick to deny him. We have to let them know the price to be paid if they try it. I suggest Trump supporters email and phone their elected Republican representatives and let them know that you will hold them personally responsible for any crap the party pulls. If they ever want your vote again, they better not. If you don't have elected...

GREENVILLE, S.C. -U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) released a statement Tuesday in which he accused Ted Cruz of "outright lies, questionable tactics" and a Facebook page that falsely said Gowdy no longer supports Marco Rubio... ..."Now, it's been reported that a fake Facebook page has been used to fool South Carolinians into thinking that I no longer support Marco Rubio, and that I’m instead supporting Ted Cruz. Nothing could be further from the truth and I'm demanding that Sen. Cruz and his campaign repudiate these dishonest and underhanded tactics. We can have a debate about the future of our party...

Washington (CNN)—Media mogul Rupert Murdoch believes Donald Trump's ability to appeal across party lines will lead to victory over Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. "Cruz bets uniting white conservatives/evangelicals enough, Meanwhile Trump appealing across party lines. Surely the winning strategy," Murdoch tweeted Friday night. Murdoch added that in the wake of Thursday night's Republican debate, the party's establishment is viewing Trump as the inevitable nominee. "24 hours and many influential Republicans see Trump inevitable and get ready to switch. United by horror of Hillary whose campaign staggers," Murdoch tweeted.

Thanks to "Game of Thrones," television just can't get enough of the Middle Ages. Those flickering smoky interiors, enormous woolly coats and bloody, ax-heavy battles; the remarkable décolletage, the picaresque foliage and mud. Sometimes there's magic, sometimes there isn't, but, by gosh, there's always plenty of bloody hacking and mud. Certainly "The Last Kingdom," the BBC drama that premieres Saturday and is based on the first book of Bernard Cornwell's "Saxon Tales," checks all these boxes in short order. Don't let the exposition-heavy first episode fool you; this may be a sword 'n' longboat epic with a handsome hero at...

Are there enough shows about bearded European-y people brandishing swords and shields and shouting at each other? Not according to BBC America, which will stake a claim in the medieval drama genre with The Last Kingdom, debuting Saturday, October 10 at 10pm. And to prove it, BBC America released the first full-length trailer for the series. Adapted from Bernard Cornwell's novels The Saxon Stories, The Last Kingdom chronicles the rise of young Saxon warrior Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon) and the birth of England in the 9th century in Northumbria. And if you're a fan of History's Vikings, get ready for some...

He said it was when he returned to the campsite that a female cougar emerged from the woods and grabbed 1-year-old Bailey — quickly pulling the dog into the bushes. That's when Hanson said he ran after the cougar in order to save Bailey's life. "I just kept pushing the bushes so I could see and dropped down into a muddy, dry creek," he said. "I was able to spring out of the mud and was screaming at it the whole time.” Without another thought, Hanson said he lunged at the animal, grabbing a handful of her skin. "I was...

"I have a great relationship with the Mexican people. I have many people working for me - look at the job in Washington - I have many legal immigrants working with me. And many of them come from Mexico. They love me, I love them," the 2016 GOP contender said in an interview with NBC News. "And I'll tell you something, if I get the nomination, I'll win the Latino vote." ... "Hillary's weak on immigration," he said. "I might be divisive on immigration, but she's weak on immigration, which is far worse." "If you listen to Hillary, she is...

Today is the 100th birthday of one of the greatest innovators in music history, Les Paul. Not only was Paul a popular performer, but his inclination to tinker and invent led to the development of the solid body electric guitar, multitrack recording, tape delay, phasing and a number of other innovations. Born Lester William Polsfuss in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on June 9, 1915, Paul started playing harmonica at the age of eight before learning the piano and then switching to guitar. An innovator from the beginning, Paul invented the neck-worn harmonica holder that enabled him to accompany himself on guitar at...

For instance, earlier in April the company announced it is testing out a larger, pricier, third-of-a-pound burger for $5, two years after dropping the similar Angus burger line because they were too pricey for McDonald’s diners. Despite that earlier failure, new CEO Steve Easterbrook expressed confidence his customers would go for premium burgers. “I often describe McDonald’s as possibly the most democratic -- with a small ‘d’ -- brand in the world,” he said. “And what customers love the world over, and none more so than here in the U.S., is how they can buy into aspirational quality products, but...

Today the Russian navy possesses around 270 warships including surface combatants, amphibious ships, submarines, and auxiliaries. On paper, that is. But that count includes many ships that are inactive and in poor material condition plus scores of small patrol vessels with very limited combat capability. Of the 270 ships, just 125 or so are in a working state. And of those 125, only around 45 are oceangoing surface warships or submarines that are in good shape and deployable. All the above figures come from Dr. Dmitry Gorenburg of the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University. By...

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Remini made headlines when she left Scientology. During an interview last year, the actress revealed that she departed from the faith because her daughter Sofia was getting close to the age when children begin the religion’s auditing process. Remini also said that she started to reflect on her own childhood, when she was forced to live in a secluded Scientology compound in Florida. “We were working from morning until night with barely any schooling,” Remini said at the time. “There was no saying no. There was no being tired.” Because of that and other things,...

"Those who are with us deserve everything, but those who are against us deserve to have their heads chopped off with an axe," the ultra-nationalist politician said. At a Q&A session following the speech, an Arab-Israeli audience member asked what would become of her if his plans became policy, to which he replied: “I have no problem with your being a citizen. I expect all Arabs, Christians and Jews to be loyal to the state, regardless of religious affiliation, and to serve in the IDF. We accept and encourage those who identify with us.” He added that those who raised...
