My son who is 22 has saved up enough money for a down payment and purchased his first house today. I am so proud of him. He purchased a three family and will able to manage the mortgage easily. I am such a happy mom. There have been a couple of people on this board who have given me support and encouragement in raising four on my own after my ex needed to leave. My son is doing so well. The raising isn't quite over yet, but fruit is beginning to show. Thank you for your help over the years....

For the past 2¼ years, whenever my wife and I traveled, we made our house available for short-term rentals through Airbnb. I am not much of a shopper. This weekend due to circumstances I did something I rarely ever do, I shopped at several mall stores in several locations. One thing I noticed right away was the change of the music in all the stores I was in. Christian and secular tunes abounded together.
