I am in an Army ROTC det. in Florida that recently spent three days training in MOUT. Our NCO instructors had alot of combat experience (some of them just got back from Iraq) and they gave the cadets a crash course in MOUT, patrolling, and reflexive firing. The MSIIIs and MSIVs were both instructors and opfor. The cadets learned very fast and were able to conduct training exercises with some proficiency. The squad I was in did pretty well. Some mistakes we made: In a building we attacked, an opfor was in a loft and no-one checked the loft, in...

I enrolled in the Army ROTC because I live only a short distance from the UCF but I am not sure I want to be in the Army. Could you tell me what the differences are between the Army and the Marines?

In the meantime I will pray for the Sudanese and try to see what I can do to help them. One month ago Khartoum's forces launched a large offensive into southern Sudan and killed 200,000-300,000 people. The religion of peace...
