I am Scott Adams, a trained hypnotist and creator of the Dilbert cartoons, and I predicted that Donald Trump will win the presidency in a landslide. Ask me anything! You might like to learn more about my Moist Robot hypothesis (the idea behind my Trump predictions) in my book, How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big: http://amzn.to/1oTGu8x Trump has several ways to win. Server scandal leads to Clinton's indictment. Or worse, it gets blocked for political reasons. Rehashing the Clinton scandals of the past makes everyone hate her and not want to go back to that. Trump's...
  • EKG Business Card Warms Our Hearts

Giving out a paper business card is so 1960s. Giving out a PCB business card, well that gets you up to the early 2010s. If you really want to stand out these days, give them a fully-functional EKG in a business card. (Note: works best if you’re leading an open-source electrocardiography project.) Looking through the schematics (PDF), there’s not much to the card. At the center of everything is an ADuC7061, which is an ARM microprocessor equipped with 24-bit ADCs that also has an internal DAC-driven voltage reference connected to one of the user’s thumbs

This election must be won by a candidate that is not hell-bent on flooding the country with illegals or the republic dies....it's that simple. That leaves us with Trump and Cruz.... Trump I'm very sure of on immigration, Cruz a little less so but he's far better than any of the rest.IMO Trump can pull votes from across the spectrum and I give him a very good chance of being elected.Cruz has a dedicated following who would follow him through hell and back... but IMO the following is too small to be confident of a general election win.Combine the two men...

Syrian Defense Minister General Fahd al-Freij arrived in Iran on Tuesday for a rare two-day visit, the first since civil war broke out in Syria in 2011, and was reportedly told by his Iranian backers to attack Israel. ......... Al-Freij was told by senior Iranian sources that Syria and Iran's terror proxy in Lebanon, Hezbollah, need to open a war front against Israel on the Golan Heights

Israel shot down a Syrian aircraft on Tuesday as it attempted to fly over the ceasefire line into the Golan Heights, according to IDF Radio. "This Syrian aircraft, apparently a MiG-21 (fighter jet), which was approaching the Israeli side of the Golan, was shot down by a surface-to-air Patriot missile," the radio said. The wreckage of the aircraft landed on the Syrian-controlled side of the strategic plateau, it added.
  • The EU, US Gave Hamas the Reason to Fight to the Death

In Arab-Israeli wars, never assume that he who has a bigger army is the one actually winning the real war. There is no question that Israel has the bigger army in this war, but Hamas is winning. In close to two months of “calibrated” fighting, Israel is still helpless to stop Hamas from firing rockets, ceasefire or not. As for the Gaza PR war, the prime minister is too busy fighting with his ministers to realize Hamas has already won the world over by piling up bodies of dead Palestinian Arab children.

Few people noticed that the Indian government came out in support of Israel in this war; social media in China was pro-Israel. It has developed strategic relations with both countries, and with Russia as well, that led Israel to absent itself from the vote of the U.N. General Assembly condemning Russia's annexation of Crimea. I think there's a sense in Israel, particularly on the right, that they can afford to be defiant of the United States. Israelis also sense a potential for a new alignment with Gulf Arab states that didn't exist before that is generated by their common interest...

Ministers from Jewish Home, Yisrael Beytenu and even Likud opposed truce - but PM circumvented cabinet vote on a legal technicality. Roughly half the cabinet was opposed to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's decision to agree to an open-ended ceasefire with Hamas - but the decision was passed unilaterally by the PM anyway.

Channel 2′s Udi Segal, reporting on the security cabinet decision overnight, says Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and colleagues now firmly set on unilateral end to the conflict in the next few days. He says Israel adamant that Hamas cannot be trusted in any ceasefire deal, and that it has to be deterred. He also says the US understands this, since the US also recognizes that the Hamas attack on Israeli troops in Rafah on Friday morning was a “spit in the eye” of the US and other mediators. Netanyahu will deliver a televised statement and take questions from the media...

Despite Israeli casualties and world criticism, a near-consensus in Israel supports the government’s conduct of the Gaza war, views Hamas as the aggressor and considers outsiders’ moralizing as hypocritical, ignorant or both. And in an echo-chamber fed by ubiquitous updates on Hamas rocket and tunnel attacks, the minority of local voices that do agonize over Gazans’ suffering are being silenced in a way rarely seen in a country long proud of its spirited, democratic debate.

Ultimatum – One warning from the Prime Minister of Israel to the enemy population, in which he announces that Israel is about to attack military targets in their area and urges those who are not involved and do not wish to be harmed to leave immediately. Sinai is not far from Gaza and they can leave. This will be the limit of Israel’s humanitarian efforts. Hamas may unconditionally surrender and prevent the attack. Attack – Attack the entire ‘target bank’ throughout Gaza with the IDF’s maximum force (and not a tiny fraction of it) with all the conventional means at...

The time has now arrived for the gloves to come off and for Israel to declare the Oslo Accords a tragic mistake .... Israel should finally take control of the Temple Mount, Judaism holiest site, where both Temples stood. It was an act of insanity for Israel to have allowed the Muslim Waqf to retain control of this holy site after the 1967 war. All this because of then Chief of Staff Moshe Dayan’s desire to be seen as magnanimous in victory.

SRI International is creating coordinated systems of tiny ant-like robots that can build larger structures. The aim is a swarm of magnetically-controlled bugbots that could construct electronic devices, conduct chemistry for lab-on-a-chip applications, or do other micro scale manufacturing. It's part of the US Department of Defense's "Open Manufacturing" program.

The United States warned Egypt on Tuesday that executing supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood may affect the aid that Washington provides to Cairo. Speaking one day after an Egyptian court sentenced 529 supporters of the movement to death, Deputy State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf called the sentencing "shocking."
