Trump tweeted this a few hours ago. IMO it is LONG past time for Donald to crack open that big wallet and start running hard-hitting ads!!!!

I like that he would be frugal with taxpayer dollars but he needs to start spending like a drunken sailor on attack ads NOW!

Just sending out a few tweets and updating his Facebook page is NOT ENOUGH!

I like a candidate who throws around nickels like man-hole covers.

if you look at my posts from months ago, I will give 1000 dollars to FR if he spend half a billion.

he is NOT going to. HE is not Bloomberg.

NOTHING in his past or his past comment suggest otherwise.

TWITTER? is he for real?

what about the HUGE number of people who don’t have or give a #### about twitter.

I have NO IDEA how he plans to win the generals, because he is NEVER EVER going to spend the money needed.

come on. He lost Maine and some other states because he is cheap and lazy, if only when it comes to running for office.

rather have people come to him at a rally.

what happened to going to churches and diners and a million other places. Yeah, he’s been to some.

he needs to get real.

imagine what a billion of Hillary’s dollars unmatched will do to him.

those twitter comments make him look like a fool.

aww, they used money and commercials to hurt me. Me!!!!!

where’s that dam twitter, i’ll show em.

the people are lucky to have me and they don’t know it!!!

The funny thing is that *this* is the single selling point on Trump for my husband and my son.

The fact that he gets results with less spending is awesome. After half a century of fraud, waste, and abuse this is wonderful. THIS is the man we want to be in charge of the VA.

I want him to spend, too. But wisely.

I don’t think that I’ll be disappointed.

Can you not see that you too are doing the work for Trump?

Really, you cannot see it?

I think that his campaign strategery is profoundly brilliant.

Go on, debate the point on the premier conservative forum on the Internet.

Maybe this is where we find out he doesn’t have a big wallet, that most of his wealth is tied up in bricks and steel. Earned media won’t cut it when the GOPe PACs are hammering him with lies over Trump U.

But he is NOT getting results anymore. Ever since they started hammering him with ads -- with NO response -- he has wilted in the polls, and early votes were not matched by primary day votes. Trump is in BIG trouble right now.

Remember when everyone was outraged “Cruz supporters” when trump said no to his staff up in New Hampshire when they asked for more funding. Well he won overwhelming in NH. I am amazed at how brilliantly he is running his campaign. It is on a shoestring budget but getting big results. I think he is waiting to see how things go until March 15th to see if he needs to realign his campaign. I have a feeling he will do well and continue to run the campaign as is until the general. Trump’s getting hated hit by the GOPe but still standing tall.

Get a clue!

He’s funding his own campaign.....
.....which means he pays for every single venue he attends.....and all the cost absorbed

.....he’s using his own plane to fly across the states......and that’s not peanuts

The other candidates aren’t......they’re using OPM......OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY
OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY FOR TRANSPOTATION, FOOD, VENUES, ACCOMODATIONS

You say he’s lazy??????
There’s not a lazy bone in his body!!!!
Since June 16, 2015 he has been 24/7 flying, speaking, debating, giving interviews

Keep your lousy 1000 .....or better yet, donate it to Trump!

Maine was a THIRTY SEVEN point swing!

I back him 1000 percent if he gets the nod, but he is not going to beat a billion dollar machine with twitter!!

come on, you know that.

I would mUCH RATHER he admit now that he will take and could use donations of a thousand or under.

that could bring in a lot.

With the exception of Texas, Cruz is winning in caucuses, which are closed and small. We are talking about 50,000 people versus hundreds of thousands in actual primaries. It’s easy to manipulate crowds that small, as well as resort to chicanery like Cruz did in Iowa. It’s nice to know that Trump will have the resources if and when he needs them because he’s not blowing through OPM like his rivals.

What Trump has to do is list the principles on which there’s NO COMPROMISE. Those who will do anything to stop Trump are getting some traction saying he’d backtrack on illegals and US jobs for US citizens, for two examples.

The ads running in Florida are pretty sleazy.

I agree with both u and the post author. I’m visiting Florida and the neg ads are non-stop. There is no response. I assume Ohio is the same. OTH beating them with just rallys is so delicious. Throw in the media dog pile and the net is Cruz gets a free ride. There has to be a new element to the strategy. He shoukd go on air these two weeks in florida and Ohio and end this thing. Now.

I’ve sent money to Trump, I hope others have/or will, too.

He needs some GREAT ads (like “morning in America”) strategically placed. In FL , every other ad is anti-Trump. I think Floridians are tuning them out.

But I hope he’ll run some soon. I think he wanted to save the big bucks for the general so is being frugal in the primary, but he’s got to get there 1

Send him money... he’s carrying the water for us.

Trump has Cruz working for him now in FL. Ted is putting offices and money into FL to pick off Rubio because he wants a 1 on 1 vs Trump. So Trump figures he has a big early vote lead and Cruz will split the vote enough to knock out Marco.

It’s risky to be frugal vs hundreds of millions of special interest money, but it has gotten Trump this far so he is sticking with the plan. We’ll soon see if it works. I hope it does because it will forever end the effectiveness of big special interest money in politics.
