Please pray for Michael and his wife Marilyn. Michael is currently in a great deal of pain from battling what appears to be a fresh onslaught of the cancer that he conquered about 2 years ago. (They will have more information on Monday.) I ask that you join me in asking our Blessed Savior to lay His Healing Hands upon Michael and to bestow upon Marilyn comfort and strength.

A vast array of pharmaceuticals — including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones — have been found in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans, an Associated Press investigation shows. To be sure, the concentrations of these pharmaceuticals are tiny, measured in quantities of parts per billion or trillion, far below the levels of a medical dose. Also, utilities insist their water is safe. **snip** In the course of a five-month inquiry, the AP discovered that drugs have been detected in the drinking water supplies of 24 major metropolitan areas — from Southern California to Northern...

In December of 2005, my husband broke his hip in a fall, and the emergency surgery involved inserting 4 screws to hold his bones together as they healed. Tomorrow morning, 01.18, he will be in surgery to have those screws removed. Please keep Dave in your prayers. Thank you, FRiends, for your support.

This woman is the grandmother of my daughter-in-law Jenny. The grandmother, Nancy, has stage III ovarian cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. I do not really know this lady, but I know that she believes in the Lord. Pray also, please, for my daughter-in-law's mother, Debbie, who has been at her mother's side throughout. Debbie has told me that about 17% of such patients survive.

Our Gracious Lord called my dear mother home this morning, April 30, 2007. Many of you Prayer Warriors helped my family and me to have almost another year with her when you lifted her up after a fall she had last summer. You prayed Marie and us through rehab, and she was able to return home, which is where she was when she met her Final Reward. Fortunately, we were able to say good-bye to her in a very poignant way on Sunday, April 22. A priest came to the house to administer Annointing of the Sick (Last Rites). As...

My beeber is stuned because, while I was watching "Fox and Friends" a little before 6:20 AM, Eastern, the crawl told me that a "HUGH" stash of weapons had been found in Iraq. Honestly, I am not kidding. I am amazed by how often I see typos in the crawls on the cable news channels.

Please pray for my son Alex. Although he is only 34, he has been having prostate problems, and he will undergo tests on Thursday to screen for cancer.

Please pray for my nephew Patrick and his wife Christine who, this morning, buried their infant daugher Erin. I cannot imagine their grief, nor the grief of their own parents.

Robin Meas (sp?) thinks that 1818 was in the eighteenth century. This morning, around 6:30, I switched over to HNN when Fox broke for a commericial. Robin, the blow-up doll, was reporting a story about a man who had found a valuable old Bible at a garbage dump. The shot clearly showed the published date as 1818, but Robin said that it was printed in the eighteenth century.

My mother Marie will be 94 next month, and she has been a faithful Catholic all of her life. She fell and fractured her hip, and, as I post this, she is currently in the hospital awaiting the surgeon's decision on whether he will operate tonight or tomorrow. Fortunately, her heart and lungs are in good shape, so she is a good candidate for surgery, but she has senile dementia. The source of concern for our family, based on what her primary care physician has said, is that she may not go through rehab well enough to go back home....

My father-in-law, who will be 93 in May, needs to undergo surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from his bladder. He is in such ill health with congestive heart failure that the surgeon is warning that he may not survive the anesthesia. But allowing the cancer to stay would bring him a slow and painful death. I ask all of the Freeper Prayer Warriors to please lift up in prayer Joe, who is a very kind and God-fearing man.

President Bush has reminded us that we will prevail in the war in Iraq (“Bush holds to June 30 turnover,” Page 1, Wednesday). But over the next few months, the important names to remember aren’t Fallujah, Baghdad and Najaf but Gettysburg, Antietam and Normandy. During the battle at Gettysburg, the victors lost 20 percent of their men. At Antietam, more than 23,000 men were killed or wounded on that single, endless September day. During the Normandy landings, America lost 500 men a minute. We stand today only because they refused to stand idly while evil ran rampant. We need to...

Please offer prayers for my father-in-law Joe who is to have exploratory surgery on Wednesday, 5/21/03, to determine why his lung periodically fills with fluid. He is 90 and otherwise doing pretty well. Thanks in advance to all of my prayer warrior friends for their prayers for this kind and God-fearing man.

State schools Superintendent Nancy S. Grasmick, a Democrat, announced yesterday she will not join Republican Rep. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. as a running mate in his campaign for governor. Grasmick, 63, said in a statement that she believes she can contribute more to state education in her present job, which she has held for a decade....snip...

Your prayers are requested for my sister's 9-month old granddaughter Kshama, who has a brain tumor. Her parents are awaiting notice of the date and time of her surgery.

Most Freepers know that the only reason that Gore took, or came close to taking, many precincts in the 2000 presidential election was because of voter fraud perpetrated by the DNC and its operatives -- the same pattern of corruption that gave us eight years of BJ. We also know that the news crafters will not report the truth on this. So the issue becomes what we activists will do about it. Many of us spend our time focusing on the the national picture, and that is important, but, in order to prevent another rash of election thefts in 2002, ...
