Love Trump, but unfortunately picking people isn’t Trump’s long suit.

Evidently, you believe he has had a lot of good choices to pick from.

The pickins’ are slim, mighty slim.

    Trump is NOT a Republican.

    This was never his party.

When he secured the nomination in 2016, he said he had beaten a rigged system.

Put another way, he completed a hostile takeover of the Republican ballot spot for POTUS.

He became POTUS because he promised to build a wall which was a promise those who hold elected office in the Republican Party was never going to allow him to keep.

Trump is held hostage by the choices presented him by those putting their name up to run on the Republican ticket.

When Jeff Sessions betrayed Trump, then it was clear just how much Deep State rot had overtaken the Republican Party.

Honestly as a conservative, I never saw that betrayal coming as I thought Little Beauregard was as solid as anyone Trump could have selected to put in a position of trust in his cabinet.

Trump is playing the Johnson situation as well as he can.

Elite Stream Media would love nothing more than to make a war between Trump and Johnson.

Trump wisely avoids doing what his enemies would love him to do.

Trump is in the fight of his life just to stave off the political prosecutions.

Not to mention that he has mount a campaign while fighting his enemies in courtrooms.

Fighting a battle with Johnson can only hurt his goal of securing the White House.

Trump is playing the lousy hand that has been dealt him as well as anyone could play it.

    Maybe Trump supported it.

    Maybe Trump didn’t.

Fact is Trump carries little or no weight inside the beltway or the halls of congress.

    Trump’s first term proved that.

If Trump had support within the Republican wing of the Uniparty of which is led in part by Goober Grahamnesty then a wall would have been built.

Not sure exactly why they resigned?

I am sure it had NOTHING to do with PRINCIPLE nor keeping their electoral promise to represent those who elected them.

It’s not fair to single out Johnson.

Trump WON an election on building a wall.

The wall should have been built considering his victory brought Republican majorities to both houses.

    Why wasn’t it built?

Because before Speaker Johnson, there was Speaker Ryan and Majority Leader McConnell who infamously declared, “The wall is dead on arrival.”

The Republican wing of the Uniparty sold off and sold out on open borders LONG before Johnson stumbled into the speakership.

They may have lost Eric Cantor along the way, but the House was full of globalist traitors to fill the void, like Ryan and Johnson.

I’m sure there are plenty more if Johnson doesn’t survive.

Every time a GUBMINT shutdown is avoided, BOTH wings of the UNIPARTY claim a momentous victory.

    Same deal here.

    The UNIPARTY always claims victory.

Rightful citizens, legal voters, and taxpayers have only claimed ONE TRUE victory in my lifetime and it was 2016.

Ukraine was invaded in Biden’s term because Vlad knew weakness when he saw it.

But this vote makes it official, the so-called opposition party claiming the name of Republican owns this war as much Biden.

More contentious was the vote on Ukraine aid, which came after months of infighting among House Republicans. But lawmakers voted 311 to 112 with one member voting present to approve the aid

112, I guess we write those down as all that’s left of the America Firsters.

For all I know, there could be Dems in that 112 number.

You say Establishment Republicans, I say Uniparty.

There is ONLY ONE political party in America.

The only question is, is Trump a member?

I have asked myself this question many times.

I keep coming up with the same answer, NO, Hell NO.

    This I KNOW.

There is ONLY one political party represented in DC.

The only question becomes is Trump a member?

Since Trump is not a dictator nor is that his desire as the haters would have you believe, he has to come to some kind of terms with what is in place.

Trump has to work with the party leadership that is in place, however treacherous it may be.

He may have supported McCarthy for the speakership, but what were his choices?

House leadership is voted on by the membership no one else.

In my view, the problem in the 2023 speakership election was the holdouts didn’t have the gonads to stay the course.

They should have had as many votes taken as it took for Lyin’ Kevin to step down.

I’m not sure who would have been the best replacement back in 2023, maybe Jim Jordan, but Jordan or any other serious candidate would have never actively sought the speakership until Lyin’ Kevin withdrew.

Gaetz and crew caved and got really NOTHING but the ability to take McCarthy out at a future date which they did and replaced him with Johnson who was a default candidate and neither ready nor qualified to lead.

I refuse to trash Trump as some on this board continue to do.

If Trump had his way he’d be fighting for those of us who want to save what is left of this shell of a Republic.

But Trump has to fight an all out war on every front just to attempt to run a viable campaign for office.

Trump is fighting like no one that I have ever seen on the public stage.

He is doing so at a great personal toll and cost.

I fear that the truth is a majority of Republicans holding office in the legislative branch could care less if it’s Trump or Biden who wins this next election.

For those of us outside the beltway who have been held hostage by the GOPe wing of the Uniparty our entire lifetime, it is foolish to think that there is a member in either Republican congressional caucus who is going step up and provide the leadership that those of us in the America First movement so desperately desire.

Sadly Trump and Trump alone is the ONLY hope this shell of a republic has left.

CNN can NOT give their product away for free.

CNN is being semi-bundled with Max and has created zero value if not negative value for Max.

I never click on Russell Brand but I always marvel at how many views he gets.

Put CNN on You Tube and it couldn’t get as many views as a nutcase like Russell Brand.

But the fact is as crazy as Russell Brand is, he is probably more in tune with reality than CNN who famously opined that a full-blown riot was a mostly peaceful protest.

    Harvard study?

They produce a lot of lawyers don’t they?

And judges and justices to the so-called “supreme” court?

Guess I’m prejudiced but I don’t trust anyone who aspires to hold a position where they sit in an elevated position and wear black robes.

Nearly every judge and justice appointed to the federal judiciary is nothing more than a cheap political hack who scored a lifetime appointment.

The fact that they sit on high and surround themselves in somber ceremonial trappings does not change that fact.

The fact that Trump sits on trial today and Hunter Biden has yet to face a jury on any charge is an INDICTMENT of the judicial system.

    This is a TRAVESTY.

Our judicial system is the weakest link of our Republic’s three branches.

George Soros recognized this, exploited the weakness, and we are now living in a mere shell of what was a Free Republic.

    Elitist tool.

Like it or not Johnson is quite typical of the Republicans who have held elected office since I became of voting age.

Ford and his chief of staff Tricky Dicky Cheney were Rockefeller Republicans.

There is a good argument that the Rockefeller Republicans stole the 1976 nomination from Reagan.

Some say Reagan was forced to take on the former head of the CIA as he VP.

Whether that is true or not, the decision to put a former head of the CIA one heart beat away from the POTUS almost got Reagan killed.

Rockefeller Republicans rebranded under the Bush/Cheney crime family as “compassionate” conservatives.

Duncan Hunter introduced the proper term to describe Jethro Bodine Bush and his so-called brain, Karl Rove when he referred to the Teddy Kennedy wing of the Republican Party.

No need to characterize Juan McCain or Pierre Delecto, everyone on this forum is familiar with their treachery.

And along came Trump, who freed all of us traditional Republican voters held hostage by the GOPe.

Problem is I doubt if there is one Republican in the Senate who has an ounce of blood bearing the populism and nationalism possessed by Trump.

Not much better in the House.

It’s not so much that MTG may have voted for Frank Luntz’s husband in the speaker election after the 2018 House take back, it was she unashamedly carried his water.

And this Thomas Massie character is as fickle as they come.

But to their credit both are offering resistance to an elitist tool Speaker who just got his latest proposal backed by the lowest man to ever occupy this Republic’s highest office.

I actually feel better about the money we spent building the Afghan army.

At least I got to see some of what US taxpayers paid for when the Taliban showed off what was left for them take.

There is no way I could see any tangibles from military spending in the Ukraine.

The greatest evidence of military spending in the Ukraine would be statements from Swiss banks and other off shore banks.
