An anti-Obama bumper-sticker slogan which seems to urge people to pray for an end to the President’s days (in office?). “There’s a hilarious new meme in the wingnut sectors of the internet,” Gawker announced: Posters to various message boards tell stories of seeing bumper stickers with the message “Pray for Obama – Psalm 109:8” on the highway, only to look up the verse and find, “Let his days be few; and let another take his office.” … Anyway, now it’s a real thing: CafePress is selling T-shirts and bumper stickers, the Christian Science Monitor is wondering whether it’s “funny or...

KILLEEN, Texas (AP) - An apartment complex manager says the man accused of opening fire at Fort Hood, Texas recently had a religious bumper sticker torn off his car. The manager, John Thompson, says a fellow soldier allegedly keyed Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan's car and ripped up the bumper sticker. Thompson says the soldier had been to Iraq and was upset to learn Hasan was Muslim. Thompson, who manages the Killeen, Texas complex where Hasan lives, says the bumper sticker read: "Allah is Love." In Arabic, Allah means God.

NEWTON, Mass. -- Police are looking for a man wanted for attacking an 18-year-old woman at a bus stop last week. The woman told police she was waiting for a bus at the intersection of Centre and Church Streets around 5:30 p.m. on October 12 when a man pulled up in a car and asked her to get in.

It all started with a parody from Tom McMahon, who was aggravated by the extremely smug and intellectually slovenly bumper sticker in which a variety of religious symbols spell out “COEXIST.” McMahon produced a parody bumper sticker with Nazi and Communist symbols substituted.

I just returned from the grocery store in Brandon having observed a bumper sticker that read, "Don't blame me for your troubles, I voted for the white man." I was struck by this statement for a few reasons. First, it was stupid. Second, it was racist. Third, it was stupid and racist. This kind of an attitude is very scary. I am wondering if the driver of the car is in any way aware of the danger of making this type of statement. This line of thinking is totally unacceptable at a time when we all need to be focused...

Dan Fuchs is a local businessman who set up a graphic arts kiosk at The Johnson City, Tennessee mall. Business was slow until a customer suggested he try selling stickers with the NoBama message. Business picked up and he expanded his line of 'anti-Obama' stickers. Today, mall administration terminated Fuchs' lease after it began receiving complaints about the allegedly 'anti-Obama' merchandise. Fuchs said he also sold 'pro-Obama' stickers, but the mall administration felt he wasn't offering a fair balance between anti and pro Obama stickers. In the video story on Channel 11's website, the mall spokeswoman inexplicably says that the...

“Senator, you were expelled from Harvard for cheating, then you left a woman to drown in your car at Chappaquiddick. What makes you think you have what it takes to be President?” That was the opening question of an interview with the late Senator Edward Kennedy during his unsuccessful bid to secure the Democratic nomination for the US presidency. It might equally now serve as an obituary. The answer to that embarrassing question, of course, can be given in one word: entitlement. The Kennedy dynasty has long assumed a divine right to high office and privilege that accords ill with...

Knowing the hazards of “road rage,” I recently experienced “parking-lot rage” when confronted by a bumper sticker that read: “I’m a Republican. Not everybody can be on welfare!” For the person on whose vehicle that appeared: I’m a socially liberal Democrat who’s not spent a single second on welfare. For those of you on the right whose arch-conservative stance has been allowed to dictate county and city government, nestled as they are in the bosom of the Ronald Reagan Library, who think that bumper stickers are cute and funny and want to know where you can get yours, I proudly...

Now I've seen everything. While walking in Downtown Portland, Maine today, liberal bastion that it is, I came upon one of these Subarus with all the left wing bumper stickers all over it. The owner, who appeared to not have bathed in about a week, was frantically trying to take a bumper sticker OFF her car. I couldn't resist, so I asked...

My friend Ken Marrero, aka the Blue Collar Muse, reports on conservative/libertarian profiling. Have an inappropriate bumper sticker on your car and the cops are warned that you might be a threat. Writes Ken: Missouri State Police have been alerted to be on the lookout for subversive drivers who may be domestic terrorists or members of militia groups. How can Missouri Law Enforcement know the car in front of them might be carrying dangerous people? Why from their bumper stickers of course! Among the bumper stickers listed as indicative of dangerous, anti-Americans behind the wheel are those supporting Ron Paul...

PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD: We are trying to get the word out to all that oppose Obama at ND to put a red Christian Cross over all personal ND logos. I.E. Logos on car, get red tape and put a Christian Cross over it; clothing, get red embroidery thread and sew a red Christian Cross over it, or simply use ribbon, and please wear them! For ONCE we have to stand up and visually express our opposition. Please help us spread this peaceful protest. Please do the same for all Saint Mary's and Holy cross logos you own. There...

I just created a new bumper sticker and put it up for sale at zazzle.com. However, it includes the Obama logo, and I don't know if it is legal for me to use it or not. Based on what was written on this blog at politico (http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0708/The_Obama_logo.html), it seems that I can use it, unless the Obama people object. Here is the link to my bumper sticker: http://www.zazzle.com/tulipforme ("I hope he fails!" with the Obama logo replacing the "o" in "hope".) What do you think? Do I need to change it and take out the Obama logo or leave it...

Earlier today, I was parked at the Highland Lakes (Vernon, NJ) post office, picking up my mail. My new bumper sticker (following) was prominently displayed: When I came out and headed to my car, a woman in a nearby car, seeing that I was the owner of the "offending" bumper sticker, said to me: "Yay, President Obama. I voted for him." Real mousy voice, and a mousy looking woman; she looked to me like someone who was smoking dope every night, 25 years ago. Knowing what a waste of time and effort it is to try to educate morons, I...

I am trying to capture the spirit of bipartisanship as practiced by the Democratic Party over the last eight years. Thus, I have chosen as my lead, the proposition: Obama lied; the economy died. Obviously, I am borrowing this from the Democratic Party theme of 2003-08: "Bush lied, people died." There are, of course, two differences between the two slogans. Most importantly, I chose to separate the two clauses with a semicolon rather than a coma because the rule of grammar is that a semicolon rather than a coma) should be used between closely related independent clauses not conjoined with...

at the risk of sounding like a leftist moonbat nutjob, I'm re-applying a new McCain/Palin bumper sticker to my car? my reasons are many, but include the following: 1) the number of o-zombies who continue to display theirs. 2) the unhinged leftist nutjobs (some of whom live on my street) who, TO THIS DAY, still display their Gore and Kerry crap - 'cause, y'know, it's GWB's fault they don't have a NEW car. 3) a reminder to these selfish morons that not ALL of us are marching in lockstep with the fraud messiah, and that we WILL fight them every...

Just wanted to warn anyone if they are thinking of ordering any McCain/Palin yard signs, bumper stickers, shirts, etc from this website. I placed an order for 1 yard sign and bumper sticker 1 month ago, and still have not received my items. Apparently after the announcement of Palin as VP their orders went up significantly, they were taking orders for merchandise they couldn't supply. I spoke to someone on the phone, they said their website had crashed, but I "should" get my sign shipped by next week. They haven't returned emails, and I have to go shopping elsewhere. Can...

It is now September 29.Driving around for errands this last week, I have seen exactly ONE bumper sticker for Zer0Bama. I live in Massachusetts. At this time in the last election, Kerry stickers were everywhere. There are no local yard signs, either.Any thoughts? Is this significant? Possibly in cities it may be different. Is it a "Hold your nose and vote for the least bad" year?

From Beliefnet Do you remember the outcry when Mike Huckabee put a cross behind him in his television commercial. Obama, the former community activist and current infanticide proponent, is putting crosses on his shirts. Can you imagine if McCain/Palin did this. The media outcry would be deafening.

Yesterday, Michael Medved spoke about conservatives being a little wary of having conservative bumper stickers on their cars or signs in their yards because the liberals are liable to attack. There was a car in my neighborhood that was completely keyed up because it had Bush bumper stickers on it. My car has been keyed. Some friends of mine who had conservative stickers on their van had the stickers completely scraped up by angry liberals. Another friend who lives across the street from a public school had the Bush lawn sign I gave them ripped up a few times. So...

My "W '04" bumper sticker has seen a lot of action. Since the sticker was first affixed, my car has had trash thrown at it on the highway, it's been keyed in Century City, and the rageaholics around LA have attempted to counter it with the all powerful "W" with the diagonal line through it bumper sticker. Then there was that brush with celebrity greatness which you may remember: "Guess Who Was Stuck Behind my President Bush Bumper Sticker Today?": http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1333941/posts I still love President Bush. But I want to put my McCain bumper sticker on my car. I don't...

An acquaintance of mine put this bumper sticker together, and I think it very accurately reflects the feelings of anyone voting for McCain this go-round. I don't make any profits from it, and I probably won't even be voting McCain, but I think this is a perfect representation of the opinions of Freepers.

I'd had a neat idea for a bumber sticker or maybe just a nice net graphic for the coming post-convention campaign season. It would be "Obama 2008" and a play on his current bumper sticker. The difference is that the rainbow in the "O" would be replaced with a red circle with the islamic crescent and star. All of the lettering would be red on a white background so it would be inexpensive to produce (red ink on white vinyl). Any graphic artists in the house want to give this a whirl? Also, I'd have posted this in Vanity but...

You have all doubtless seen the COEXIST bumpersticker on the rear of a car in front of you while driving through Madison or the East Side. Todd McMahon created a parody, substituting two of the symbols in the middle to make a point. Charlie Sykes posted the parody on his blog, and has taken flack from the Left for doing so. In the spirit of the blue bumpersticker, here is my suggestion:

James Carville is quoted in the original NewsMax story, "We have to constantly remind people of the stakes involved, and the choice they have." Democrats Seeking 'Bumper Sticker' Campaign Slogan By Susan Jones CNSNews.com Senior Editor August 23, 2007 (CNSNews.com) - The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) has announced a campaign to find the "bumper sticker slogan" that will carry it through the 2008 elections. The slogan also will appear on the DSCC Web site and campaign literature. "We need a turn of phrase that really jumps out and tells you right off the bat what this election is all about," said James Carville in a message to Democrats. Carville is credited with the famous phrase, "It's the Economy, Stupid," which apparently propelled the...

For six years, the Bush administration has kept America safe from another terrorist attack, allowing the Democrats to claim that the war on terrorism is a fraud, a "bumper sticker," a sneaky ploy by a power-mad president to create an apocryphal enemy so he could spy on innocent librarians in Wisconsin. And that's the view of the moderate Democrats. The rest of them think Bush was behind the 9/11 attacks. But now with the U.S. government – as well as the British and German governments – warning of major terrorist attacks this summer, the Treason Lobby is facing the possibility...

As terrorists go, last week's attacks featured The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight. One of the would-be London bombers drove erratically down Haymarket St. -- presumably affected by the fumes from the gas cylinders and gasoline containers that were the heart of his makeshift car-bomb -- before crashing into a garbage bin, getting out and running away. Another parked his explosives-packed car illegally, so it was towed away. The third attack was at Glasgow airport on the following day, but nobody was hurt except one of the attackers, who set himself on fire. More-competent terrorists might have killed dozens of...

Thank you to everyone who helped come up with the content ideas for the proposed nationwide outdoor media campaign. Hundreds of ideas were created which needed to be trimmed down to a dozen or so that captured the essence of the individual concepts. The concepts were; 1. Rephrase the debate from "withdrawal" to "retreat and surrender". 2. Losing in Iraq will only bring more danger to our doorsteps. 3. Surrender is not an American virtue. 4. Let our soldiers finish their job. Here is what we came up with. Withdrawal is Retreat Retreat is Surrender NO SURRENDER To Terrorism A...

We are losing the media battle for the hearts and minds of Americans over the war on terrorism in Iraq. The left controls the MSM...networks, much of cable, the major newspapers, magazines, hollywood, academia, etc. Rallies get scant coverage, positive developments in Iraq get spiked and the news is ALL BAD. They are never going to report fairly until they have elected a dem as President, and then it will be too late. Now we're never going to convince the hardcore lefties or committed dems who will support anything, no matter how much it hurts the country, as long as...

Bumper of my SUV By Michelle Malkin · March 12, 2007 03:01 PM Kudos to country singer Chely Wright, who performed in Iraq last week: Since World War II, American celebrities have been raising the morale of service members overseas with different forms of entertainment ranging from concerts to stand-up shows.
