The Islamic State terror group continues to pose a real and present danger, according to the latest United Nations six-month report on jihadist activities. Islamic State (ISIS) leadership “aims to adapt, survive and consolidate in the core area and to establish sleeper cells at the local level in preparation for eventual resurgence, while using propaganda to maintain the group’s reputation as the leading global terrorist brand – the ‘virtual caliphate,’” the report declares. “When it has the time and space to reinvest in an external operations capability, ISIL will direct and facilitate international attacks in addition to the ISIL-inspired attacks...

A 14-year-old girl in a black veil walked onto the road, raised her hands and made a plea to the soldiers nearby. She had been strapped to a suicide bomb and didn’t want to die. It was explosives specialist Randy Iljeseni’s turn to defuse the girl, one in an army of child bombers deployed across northeast Nigeria by jihadist group Boko Haram. He grabbed a pair of fabric scissors, mouthed a brief prayer and slowed his breathing. He began to slice into her bomb-strapped belt. Some of his closest friends had died this way. ...In a gruesome turn, they are...

Franklin D. Roosevelt coined the name "United Nations" for the allied countries fighting together to preserve western Judeo-Christian civilization against the National Socialist Workers Party (Nazi) and their totalitarian axis powers. Franklin Roosevelt stated May 10, 1940: "Americans might have to become the guardian of Western culture, the protector of Christian civilization." Roosevelt stated on Labor Day, September 1, 1941: "Preservation of these rights is vitally important now, not only to us who enjoy them - but to the whole future of Christian civilization." Roosevelt stated September 2, 1940: "If the spirit of God is not in us, and if...

“There is a genocide going on”: Nigerian Christians describe atrocities by Muslim group JUN 30, 2019 8:51 AM BY ROBERT SPENCER And the world yawns, because the victims are Christians, and Christians are not classified among the political and media elites’ favored victim groups. “Nigerians describe horrors of Fulani atrocities: ‘There is a genocide going on,'” by Samuel Smith, Christian Post, June 14, 2019: WASHINGTON — Nigerians from predominantly Christian tribes in Nigeria visited the United States this week to share how their tribes are now “homeless” and “sleeping under the skies” after recent massacres at the hands of Fulani...

Nigeria: “local Muslims” murder 7 Christians on way home from church, burn Christian homes The jihad against Christians continues unimpeded in Nigeria with little to no attention from Western media. Shame on them and Western Churches especially who fail to advocate for persecuted Christians out of fear of being branded ‘intolerant’, ‘islamophobic’ and ‘racist’. Gunmen suspected to be local Fulani Muslims killed several Christians as they made their way home from church services in Jos, Nigeria…following the murder of another area Christian. Fulani jihadists (often referred to as “herdsmen”) have successfully infiltrated the general population of “local Muslims” in Nigeria....

Mark down May 2019 as the month Iran's war-by-proxy-forces racket became an undeniable problem for Tehran's dictators. This month, Saudi Arabia and the U.S. informed the Iranian regime it will suffer violent consequences if and when the militias and terror cells Tehran employs throughout the Middle East and the world attack Saudi and American targets. Tehran no longer enjoys the diplomatic nicety of plausible deniability that armed surrogates supposedly provide. The regime will be held directly responsible for its proxy's violent actions. Several armed incidents this month led Saudi Arabia and the U.S. to threaten the Iranian dictatorship with military...

Under Obama, Americans were struggling to find work while he illegally shipped billions of dollars in taxpayer money to the Islamic terrorists of Iran. Under Trump, the terrorists are losing their jobs while Americans are gaining them. Since President Trump introduced sweeping new restrictions on trade with Iran last year, raising tensions with Tehran that reached a crescendo in recent days, Iran’s ability to finance allies such as Hezbollah has been curtailed. Hezbollah, the best funded and most senior of Tehran’s proxies, has seen a sharp fall in its revenue and is being forced to make draconian cuts to its...

A military council has taken control of Sudan and arrested longtime President Omar al-Bashir, the country's military said Thursday. The move comes after opposition protesters recently gained new momentum in demanding al-Bashir leave office. Sudan's defense minister, Awad Mohamed Ahmed Ibn Auf, said the "regime" had been removed and its head arrested, as he announced the coup in a televised statement. The minister said a transitional military council will rule the country for two years. Protesters have been calling for al-Bashir's ouster for months. Thousands swelled the capital Khartoum's streets as the military promised to make an important announcement earlier...
  • The US to Designate Iranian Guard Corps a Foreign Terror Group

In 2007, the US Treasury designated the IRGC’s Quds Force, its unit in charge of operations abroad, “for its support of terrorism,” and has described it as Iran’s “primary arm for executing its policy of supporting terrorist and insurgent groups.” By law, the power to appoint and remove the commander of the IRGC is given to the supreme leader. The supreme leader also appoints clerical representatives to the various units of the IRGC whose guidance and instructions are binding on commanders. Iranian law makes “belief and practical obedience to the principle of the clerical rule” a condition of membership in the IRGC, further establishing absolute loyalty to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei as the IRGC’s guiding principle. Efforts to normalize the IRGC’s extraordinary role in Iran over the years have resulted in a complex organization chart. Administratively, the IRGC falls under the Joint Armed Forces General Staff, part of the Ministry of Defense. But these layers of oversight do not give Iran’s nominally elected civilian authorities real control over the IRGC, as the entire military remains subordinate to the Supreme National Security Council, which in turn answers to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Iranian opposition President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), has long been calling for the international community to completely end the appeasement approach vis-à-vis the regime in Iran. On January 11 of this year, Mrs. Rajavi called for the specific IRGC blacklisting as an FTO alongside the referral of Iran’s human rights violations dossier to the United Nations Security Council.

The Senate passed the same resolution in March with bipartisan support. Trump is expected to issue a veto of the measure , his second as president, and Congress does not have the votes to override him.

Christians in the United States have faced persecution for their beliefs over the past few years. Media outlets have done a decent job reporting on the incidents where believers face threats to their religious liberty. But in other parts of the world, Christians are paying for their faith with their lives. Nigeria is one of the most dangerous countries for Christians, a nation that ranks 12th on Open Doors USA's World Watch List. Over the past few years, we've heard of the stories of Boko Haram and their terror against Christians, but Nigerian believers are facing an even more recent...

Thousands of dollars in donations are now pouring in to help find a home for a homeless 8-year-old Christian refugee who fled persecution with his family from Islamist sect Boko Haram in Nigeria, after he beat wealthier competitors to win New York State’s primary chess championship. The boy, Tanitoluwa Adewumi, who is affectionately called Tani, is currently living with his family in a homeless shelter in Manhattan and only started playing chess just over a year ago, according to an op-ed by The New York Times’ Nicholas Kristof. The recent death toll of Christians in Nigeria has reached 120 with this week’s slaughter of more than 50 by Fulani Muslim militants in the Kaduna state of Nigeria, the Christian Post reported. The Fulani jihadists, who have become a greater threat to Nigerian Christians than the Islamist terror group Boko Haram, stormed the villages of Inkirimi, Dogonnoma, and Ungwan Gora in the Kajuru Local Government Area last Monday, destroying 143 homes, killing 52 people, and wounding dozens more. The assailants reportedly split into three groups, the first of which fired upon the people, the second set fire to buildings,...

Sotoudeh, who has represented opposition activists including women prosecuted for removing their mandatory headscarf, was arrested in June and charged with spying, spreading propaganda and insulting Iran's supreme leader, her lawyer said. She also was jailed in 2010 for spreading propaganda and conspiring to harm state security — charges she denied ... The news comes days after Iran appointed...

Back in 2015, a new M.P. from Streatham was among those running to replace Ed Miliband as leader of the Labour Party in Great Britain. This was Chuka Umunna, who suddenly pulled out, explaining that he didn’t want to put his wife through the ordeal of the campaign and his possible win. He worried, he said, about her loss of privacy. He was also 36 at the time, and may have felt unready; he knew he had plenty of time to prepare for a run. As it happens, the Labour Party then elected, by a landslide, the far-left ideologue Jeremy...
