Voters in New Mexico’s capital city rejected a tax increase on sweetened beverages Tuesday, handing a rare victory to the soft-drink industry after a string of recent defeats. Michale Bloomberg's purchased gun control groups Mom's Demand Action and Everytown promised to "confront" the National Rifle Association in Atlanta (GA) during the NRA's Annual Meetings and Exhibits.
