Michale Bloomberg's purchased gun control groups Mom's Demand Action and Everytown promised to "confront" the National Rifle Association in Atlanta (GA) during the NRA's Annual Meetings and Exhibits.
It was a less than impressive event.
According to an officer providing security at the event, Mom's Demand and Everytown brought just 75-100 people to Woodruff Park to "confront" the NRA, at a venue 7/10ths of a mile away from the Annual Meetings.
The twinned gun control groups appear to have attempted to pad their numbers by handing out tee shirts to the many homeless people inhabiting the park, though most of them seemed indifferent.
This is the fourth year in a row that Bloombergs gun control groups have failed to draw a sizable crowd. In contrast, the National Rifle Associations Annual Meetings are expected to draw as many as 80,000 attendees to their pro-liberty event.
Patriots outnumber Libtards by 1,000 to 1 ... Bloomers and Soros need to buy more trolls and run more buses next year if they don't want to look quite so stupid!
Gun ownership crosses all ideological lines.
I’ve known otherwise flaming liberals who were more staunchly pro-gun than so-called “golfers with guns”.
And what were the officers providing security carrying?
LOL!!
And our President had cheers at his appearance at the NRA.
So sick of people putting “Moms” against this or that. Drunk driving, yeah, I can see that. But “Moms against guns”?
What about Dads?? Are mothers morally superior to the father of their children? It is incredibly biased.
I saw the Arby's in the photo. Probably the best sandwich you'll ever have. Just had one hours ago.
Liberals are at war with the 1st and 2nd Amendments. How long until they go after the rest of the Bill of Rights?
You're right about that.
Is that a real Ad and a real Sandwich?
If so, I may need to investigate if they decide to test in California.
Mom’s Demand Action? BLAH!! How about something more catchy, like Mom’s Impugning Legal Firearms, MILF :-/
‘Michale’
What?
Georgia is gun country. :-)
I don’t knows if it’s an official Arby ad, but the sandwich is for real. I don’t know why no one else does pork belly.
That sign: “Moms Demand Action”....
Well if a Mom demands it, by all means, it must happen! /s
...btw, I am a “Mom” of a son and a daughter, 21 and 17 respectively (though our girl will turn 18 in a few days; spent today shopping for her. :) .
I support the 2nd Amendment. It’s apparently not legal here, but I wish she had the right to concealed carry. In the old West, it was called “the Great Equalizer.” Women had pistols under their skirts for self protection.
When my daughter goes to college, I would love if she could have something to protect herself if she is walking home late from the library, etc.
My Canadian husband is not a fan of guns...Well, pistols, etc., though he does have hunting rifles. Sometimes we get into a debate and he has no answer when I say, “wouldn’t you want your daughter to be able to protect herself late at night?”
Sometimes I think about buying something and trying to smuggle it across the border...but I would be deported back to the U.S. Not a bad thing to be back home :) but I wouldn’t be able to see my family anymore.
If the sandwich is popular, I expect they will drop the word ‘Belly’, and put something else. Maybe even just change the spelling to Belli.
Laz, isn’t there a 2nd Amendment ping list? Perhaps we could notify that person about this thread. Pretty funny... :)
btw, please see my post #13.
Take care, both of you. :)
Julie
It’s bacon on steroids.
Georgians love their guns. These folks were probably the sum total from the entire state
Now that looks like good eats
They have the meats!
Whoever hired the guy doing the voiceovers in those Arby’s conmercials is a genius.
