The initiative to ban private sales of firearms in Nevada appears to have more than enough signatures. Supporters of a ballot initiative to require background checks for private gun sales say they have collected more than the required 101,667 signatures to get the issue before voters. If the signatures are verified, the measure will be presented to the Legislature. If lawmakers don’t pass the measure, it would go on the 2016 election ballot for voters to decide. They are also running television commercials, holding events and pushing their studies into the newsrooms of a mostly favorable press.

We all know Target caved to MDA and requested people not bring guns, which MDA took as a outright ban. According to some FB Posts and Tweets I saw recently it seems MDA or their members have realized that nothing has changed policy wise.
