'Virgin Birth' By Shark Confirmed: Second Case Ever ScienceDaily (Oct. 10, 2008) — Scientists have confirmed the second-ever case of a “virgin birth” in a shark, indicating once again that female sharks can reproduce without mating and raising the possibility that many female sharks have this incredible capacity. Lead author Dr. Demian Chapman, shark scientist with the Institute for Ocean Conservation Science at Stony Brook University, Beth Firchau, Curator of Fishes for the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center, and Dr. Mahmood Shivji, Director of the Guy Harvey Research Institute and Professor at Nova Southeastern University in Florida, have proven...

I sent and email to the Obama campaign asking for the name of the physician that brought the wonderful Obama into this world because we wanted to make a charitable donation in his name. No response. Obviously Obama born in 1961 and with such a strange NAME at the time should be remembered by some Hospital staffers, Doctors, Nurses? Does his grandmother recall the name of anyone? We should take up a collection and offer the the reward to anyone that can provide eyewitness account and data on Obama's Birth.

Obama & DNC Hide Behind Legal Issues While Betraying Public in not Producing a Certified Copy of Obama’s “Vault” Birth Certificate and Oath of Allegiance Country is Headed to a Constitutional Crisis (Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania – 09/24/08) - Philip J. Berg, Esquire, the Attorney who filed suit against Barack H. Obama challenging Senator Obama’s lack of “qualifications” to serve as President of the United States, announced today that Obama and Democratic National Committee [DNC] filed a Joint Motion to Dismiss on the last day to file a response, for the obvious purpose of delaying Court action in the case of...

Answer to Berg's Complaint Due Today from Obama, DNC Obama and the DNC have until midnight tonight to serve an answer to Philip Berg's complaint, so keep checking here for updates throughout the day. The first one was really a conglomeration of ideas tossed around my head throughout the morning, hence the "9:00am to 1:00pm" label. Still, as things develop--or perhaps do not--there should be more to see. -- Jeff 5:30pm I just got off the phone with Phil Berg, and put in a few questions to the attorney who filed the motion. I'd really like to give the latter...

A San Francisco federal judge ruled Tuesday that Republican presidential candidate John McCain's claim of U.S. citizenship is strong enough that a lawsuit challenging his placement on the California ballot should be dismissed.

Northern District of California Judge William Alsup ruled in the case of Robinson v. Bowen, filed by an elector pledged to third-party candidate Alan Keyes seeking an injunction to keep McCain off the November ballot. Two other challenges claiming that McCain's birthplace in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936 disqualifies him under the Constitution have been dismissed on standing grounds. But Alsup evaluated the merits of the claim in a hearing last week and in an order issued Tuesday.

BERG FILES MOTION FOR EXPEDITED DISCOVERY, SEEKS DEPOSITION OF BARACK OBAMA AND HOWARD DEAN BY "SEPTEMBER 31" Stay tuned here for the update, coming later tonight. I pointed out, to Phillip Berg, that there are only 30 days in September. "Well," he said, chuckling. "I guess I created an extra day in September like he created seven extra states in our country."

...Jill Stanek reports that, while she was a registered nurse at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn Illinois, "babies were being aborted alive and shelved to die in the soiled utility room." "Babies were being aborted alive and shelved to die in the soiled utility room." Illinois legislators introduced legislation to make this illegal. Barack Obama sabotaged and derailed this legislation under color of protecting Roe vs. Wade, even though...

Obama's 10 reasons for supporting infanticide Posted: January 16, 2008 1:00 am Eastern By Jill Stanek © 2008 I was intimately involved in the five-year process to pass the Illinois Born Alive Infant Protection Act, testifying before committees twice that then-state Sen. Barack Obama sat on. Following are 10 excuses Obama has given through the years for voting "present" and "no" on the Illinois Born Alive Infant Protection Act, or BAIPA. 10. Babies who survive abortions are not protected by the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution. Obama, the sole opponent ever to speak against BAIPA, stated on the Illinois...

Illinois Sen. Motion denied in Obama lawsuitBy KEITH PHUCAS, Special to The Phoenix 09/02/2008 PHILADELPHIA - A Lafayette Hill lawyer who filed a legal challenge to Sen. Barack Obama's presidential candidacy claiming he doesn't meet U.S. residency requirements had a motion for a temporary restraining order denied Friday. A day earlier, Philip Berg filed a motion for a temporary restraining order in federal court in Philadelphia questioning the authenticity of Obama's Hawaii birth certificate and claiming the Illinois senator was actually born in Kenya, according to court papers. Though the motion was denied, Berg said he was encouraged that Judge R. Barclay...

I revisited the "Born in the U.S.A." story that FactCheck produced which shows digital photos of OBama's alleged genuine paper birth certificate, or COLB, taken in a number of angles. I found something new: A note that the story had been "updated August 26." Update, August 26: We received responses to some of our questions from the Hawaii Department of Health. They couldn't tell us anything about their security paper, but they did answer another frequently-raised question: why is Obama's father's race listed as "African"? Kurt Tsue at the DOH told us that father's race and mother's race are supplied...

The Annenberg Political Factcheck website has published photographs and an analysis of what it says is the "original birth certificate" of Barack Hussein Obama II. While the physical document depicted in the photos resemble the document image previously scanned and published by the Daily Kos website and Obama's own "Fight the Smears" site in June, FactCheck's case for authenticity and its claims to objectivity are undermined by a litany of process flaws, conflicts of interest and factual inconsistencies that raise doubts about its motives and methods of those of the Obama campaign. -----snip----The Factcheck.org report, titled "Born in the USA,"...

The page contains a GRAPHIC cartoon of Barack Obama smashing a baby's head against a wall (which is why I am not actually posting the cartoon here--people who might find such an image upsetting, even in a cartoon, don't have to see it). The cartoon is similar to the kind that was used during the World Wars to portray the enemy as woman-raping and/or baby-killing monsters, e.g. Imperial Germany as a fanged gorilla carrying a half-naked woman over his shoulder. In politics, of course, such a cartoon must convey the absolute truth if it is not to be written off...

What's This, FactCheck?? From the high-res photos that FactCheck provided, I was able to confirm a number of my findings that exposed the FactCheck COLB image as a manufactured forgery. To get everyone up to speed, there has been one, and only one forged image. From this one source image, several copies were generated. One was kept by the Obama campaign while one copy went to the Daily Kos, and the other went to FactCheck. Both the Daily Kos and the Obama campaign cropped their images before posting them on June 12. The Obama Campaign posted a very small, low-res...

I have been reading for some time about Barack Hussein Obama's birth certificate controversy. At first I dismissed it because I thought there was no way the Democratic Party would allow someone who is not qualified to run for the office of President. I now understand that at least half of the state attorney generals in the country will challenge Obama’s residency before certifying his nomination. Lawsuits will be filed to clarify Obama’s birth in the United States. Until today I simply believed that Obama was born in Hawaii. After doing some research I found it is not so clear...

A Few Other Possibilities on Barack Obama's Birth CertificateTuesday, June 10, 2008 Already the query about Barack Obama's birth certificate is being declared ipso facto evidence of "xenophobia" by those who see a "racist America." Well, I did grow up in a small town... Hawaii's State Department of Health explains the policy on releasing vital records here. Unless you're a relative of Obama, your request will be denied.* A few readers and other bloggers have wondered aloud what information possibly could be on the birth certificate that would make it worth keeping from the public. Beyond yesterday's (mostly unlikely) possibilities...

It’s bad enough that most media outlets are falling over silly for Obama, but now it seems Google has joined the fast moving train of Obama supporters. Initially, I didn’t believe the reports that the Obama campaign was intentionally shutting down blogs because these blogs were questioning the validity of Obama’s birth certificate. That was until I received an email from Dr. Mitchell Langbert last night, a blogger and Professor at Brooklyn College, who advised that Google had placed a temporary hold on future posts at his website.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay missed the births of his four kids - because he feared it would spoil his sex life. Ramsay's fear was not hidden from his wife Tana. He told her everything honestly. "I don't want to see something coming out of a sort of sci-fi movie. "I don't want to see a skinned rabbit or skinned pigeon coming out of your ninny and then get excited and hold it. "Give...

I just read the Strata-Sphere's supposed debunking of the Obama birth certificate forgery situation. http://strata-sphere.com/blog/index.php/archives/5626 And I've got two (maybe more) problems/questions. 1. Where are the folds in the paper? It was posted in a previous article on FR that someone had talked to the department that sends out BC's in Hawaii and the lady confirmed that they never send out a electronic version. It is ALWAYS folded and mailed. Why would anyone go to the trouble to remove the folds to post it online? It would only call into question the authenticity of the document. The Decosta BC has...

This is to summarize the law on two issues: One, Citizenship of a person, one of whose parents is a Citizen, the other an alien; and, two, eligibility of a person born outside the geographical limits of the fifty states to serve as President of the United States under Article II, Sec. 1, Par. 4 of the U S Constitution. This is addressed to Obama's status if he was born in Kenya and to John McCain's status on the record birth in Panama. I do not intend to address any of the collateral factual issues. I take it as a...

Here is hard, irrefutable proof that the Obama campaign is engaged in a huge deceit related to what they are claiming is a copy of his birth certificate. Notice on Obama's official site, his birth certificate says OHBM 1.1 in the lower left corner. The original document displayed on the Daily KOS website says OHSM 1.1 in the lower left corner. The million dollar question is: If the Daily KOS document was supplied by a Obama campaign staffer, as was reported, then how on earth can these two documents differ? There may be a Hawaiian state agency or department with...

Did I just lose some brain matter, or did the Obama's Fact Check website, aka "Fight the Smears," retract the "Here is his birth certificate" statement? I could swear that this statement used to precede the image . Am I wrong? Did anyone else note the change? The way the page is now, there is no lead-in line to the image. BTW, I have a new post today explaining the possible reasons for blacking out certificate number.

OK, here's the 411 on Hawaii's "Certification of Live Birth. I just got off the phone after talking with their Vital Records office and the Office that issues these certifications. No word of how he got it-Team Barry isn't actually leaking to dKos, is it?-and naturally he misunderstands Jim Geraghty's point about Obama's place of birth, which would have been relevant not with respect to his "Americanness" but whether he was constitutionally qualified to run as a natural-born citizen. But here it is.Update: Not that it matters for purposes of addressing Geraghty's concerns, but Flip notes that the posted document is a certification of birth, which is slightly different from a birth certificate.

"Skipping the Hospital and Its Rules Has Benefits, and Dangers, for Mother and Child" More women are opting for do-it-yourself deliveries rather than dealing with the regulations, constrictions and rules they'd face if they gave birth in a hospital. Home births comprise about 1 percent of all U.S. births, and while no hard data exists to indicate how many of them take place without a midwife or doctor present, experts said the number of unassisted births is rising. More than 100 discussion groups about the subject have sprung up on Yahoo's Web site.

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Two researchers say reducing abortions in the United States would significantly cut the rate of premature births. They say the rate has increased as abortion has been legalized and point to Poland as an example of how banning or significantly reducing abortions would help pregnant women. Dr. Richard E. Behrman, representing the Institute of Medicine, has identified prior first-trimester induced abortion as an “immutable medical risk factor associated with pre-term birth.”In his book Preterm Birth: Causes, Consequences, and Prevention, Behrman found that the premature birth rate in the U.S. was 12.5% in 2004 -- 40 percent...
