It shoots 2 3/4" shotgun shells, uses a pump for cycling, and even leaves a big hole in whatever it shoots. On April 25 California Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom used a tweet to call out the NRA and suggests lives being saved by gun control. His tweet came on the same day Breitbart News reported that the NRA had launched what promises to be the first of many lawsuits designed to challenge California gun control laws. The Los Angeles Times reports that the NRA has a “series” of suits planned now that Neil Gorsuch is seated on the Supreme Court. Newsom’s tweet appears to be an attempt to convince the NRA that gun control has already won the day. He wrote:

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A Cleveland woman retrieved a gun hidden under the floorboards of her home and started firing on a group of women who broke in to attack her, police say. One of those women was struck by a bullet, and the 29-year-old remains at University Hospitals with gunshot wounds to her abdomen and leg. She has not been charged in connection with the case. A retired NYPD lieutenant, two retired NYPD officers and a former Brooklyn Assistant District Attorney were arrested early Tuesday by FBI agents in connection with the issuance of gun licenses by the NYPD's licensing division, according to law enforcement sources familiar with the case. The federal charges include bribery, extortion, making false statements and conspiracy, court papers say. Wolf wants to protect schools from mass public shootings by hiring “trained security professionals like school resource or police officers.” But a bill passed last week by the Senate Education Committee would allow school boards to let staff carry on school property as long as they have a concealed handgun permit and have gone through police-related firearms training.
