Westside Armory in Las Vegas is having a "Pre-Hillary" gun sale, predicting a surge in firearm purchases should the anti-Second Amendment Clinton win the election in November. Get on in there before the price gouging starts! The Las Vegas gun store Westside Armory is predicting a Hillary Clinton victory in November, and it has a message for customers: Buy now, because things are going to get expensive. In an advertisement over the weekend in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Westside Armory said it was holding a “Pre-Hillary Sale” on tactical rifles, warning of a price surge if the Democratic nominee wins...

A gunman wearing body armor targeted two California police officers who were taking a break at a coffee shop in an ambush that failed when his gun malfunctioned, authorities said Monday. Adam Powell, 41, appeared in the doorway of a Starbucks and 'attempted to assassinate' the two officers on Sunday, Vallejo Police Chief Andrew Bidou said. The officers were not injured because the battered weapon, its butt covered with duct tape or foil, appeared to jam. Powell of Suisun City was in critical condition after being shot by the officers during a foot chase.
  • Adam Winkler: Banning "Assault Rifles" Counterproductive

Adam Winkler is a law professor at UCLA.  He has been reliably for imposing additional gun control laws, but is more "moderate" than many academics on the left.  He has more intellectual honesty than most, and has fairly described the racist roots of gun control in the United States. It is interesting to note that Winkler has been writing about the futility of "assault rifle" bans as early as February of 2015. From the latimes.com: There are approaches to gun control, such as universal background checks and cracking down on rogue gun dealers, that can reduce the daily death...

In an advertisement over the weekend in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Westside Armory said it was holding a “Pre-Hillary Sale” on tactical rifles, warning of a price surge if the Democratic nominee wins the presidential election next month. “Don’t wait!” the advertisement reads. “Prices will skyrocket after Crooked Hillary gets in.” The words appear alongside a picture of a Smith & Wesson M&P Sport II, a semiautomatic tactical rifle that Westside Armory advertises for $700. The Smith & Wesson website says the rifle is used for hunting, recreational shooting and “home protection.” The ad was tweeted out Sunday by Jon...

A survey done at Yale, based on doctors political party registration, found that there was a significant difference in how Republican and Democrat doctors treated patients who owned guns. From wisconsingazette.com: And Democratic doctors were 66 percent more likely to say they’d urge parents of small children not to store guns in the home — while Republican doctors instead preferred to ask about safe storage of the firearms, concluded the survey, published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. “This was really an eye-opener,” said bioethicist Nancy Berlinger of The Hastings Center, a nonpartisan research institute. She wasn’t...

A 22-year-old man could spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair after he was shot in a Coney Island apartment building following a fight against another man, officials and heartbroken family members said. Aliahsheen Robinson was shot on the 21st floor of the Sea Park building on W. 28th St. at about 9:30 p.m. on Friday. The bullet went through his chin and entered his spine, his mother, Tina McCall, said as she prayed over her son at Lutheran Medical Center on Saturday. “He can’t talk,” McCall said of Robinson, who has a 1-year-old daughter. “He’s got (tubes)...

Authorities allege that the homeowner fired off a round to scare off the clown. The homeowner was subsequently arrested, but the masked clown remained at large. A few blocks away, another person donning a clown costume was arrested on suspicion of possession of burglary tools in an unrelated case.

HARTFORD, Conn. -- A judge on Friday dismissed a wrongful-death lawsuit by Newtown families against the maker of the rifle used in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting massacre, citing an embattled federal law that shields gun manufacturers from most lawsuits over criminal use of their products. State Superior Court Judge Barbara Bellis granted a motion by Remington Arms to strike the lawsuit by the families of nine children and adults killed and a teacher who survived the Dec. 14, 2012, school attack, in which a gunman killed 20 first-graders and six educators with a Bushmaster AR-15-style rifle made by...

Sean Duffy was happy to pose with this constituent who was openly carrying at the Rusk County Republican dinner. The event was in Ladysmith last night, the 8th of October, 2016. Sean told the Wisconsin resident that he felt safer when he had people openly carrying guns around him, because he knew he could trust them. Ladysmith is close to where I was born and raised in Northern Wisconsin.  The Duffy boys went to school in the same high school I did in Hayward.  Sean's father and I went to high school together. It did not surprise me when...

An armed man picked the wrong store clerk to rob when he entered a Texas smoke shop last month. In surveillance footage taken of the incident, a man enters Austin, Texas, store and immediately draws a gun. Without missing a beat, the store clerk, who is smoking a cigarette, draws his own gun - a CZ-75 SP-01 9mm pistol - and begins firing at the robber. The store clerk seems completely unfazed and doesn't even put down his cigarette as he fires at the assailant. At one point while he's shooting, he even appears to try and take a drag...

I attended the Arizona Citizens Defense League annual meeting in Phoenix on Saturday, 8 October, 2016.  It was a 170 mile drive, one way, from Yuma. Usually I take a friend, but I was slow this year, and the meeting and annual dinner was sold out before I invited anyone. You can see the crush crowd outside the meeting hall, registering to get in. The majority, about 80%, were openly carrying. AzCDL is one of the most successful state groups that have organized to restore the right to keep and bear arms.  The group was founded by Fred Dahnke...

PJ Media: One of John Podesta’s emails released by WikiLeaks this week exposes how progressive elites seek to exploit the unwashed masses. The email features one of Podesta’s colleagues from the Center for American Progress admitting that the institutional left “conspires to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry,” ostensibly to impose their radical agenda on us without much resistance. The correspondent is Bill Ivey of Global Cultural Strategies, “the online representation of the ideas, writings, and affiliations of author/consultant Bill Ivey.” He is an author trained in folklore and history, a trustee of the Center for American Progress, a former...

The Republican controlled U.S. Senate FINALLY did something IMPORTANT.....and stood up to Obama's attempts to overthrow the U.S. Constitution! Hooray! A 53-46 vote! All but two are Democrats.................. Tells you where they are getting their "instructions." PLEASE READ ON? THEN, PLEASE PASS IT ON! The U.N. Resolution 2117 lists 21 points dealing with firearms control, but perhaps of most interest is point number 11: "CALLS FOR MEMBER STATES TO SUPPORT WEAPONS COLLECTION and DISARMAMENT of all UN countries".By a 53-46 vote - The U.S. Senate voted against the U.N. resolution. HOORAY. This is that brief, glorious moment in history when...

While companies offering their customers free guns as an incentive for whatever they’re selling isn’t all that uncommon anymore, one Colorado roofing company has taken that mentality one step farther and is offering a free AR-15 for new employees. James Webb, owner of Weatherproof Roofing, offered a “Get a Roof, Get a Gun” promotion back during the summer and it was a huge success. Business has boomed and Webb now needs several positions filled as soon as possible. “We just don’t have the staff to keep up with it,” Webb said. “So now we’re giving it another shot with...

Well-funded gun control measures are on the ballots of four states this fall. Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun control groups promised back in August, as reported by The Hill, to take their fight to the ballot box. And they have succeeded in four states. They have gotten anti-Second Amendment measures onto the ballot in four states and have financially backed initiatives boosting the measures. Sheriff Chuck Allen of Nevada’s Washoe County told LifeZette in a phone interview that this measure would do little to stop gun violence and would also would put a strain on law enforcement...

"On a normal MTB ride in Capitol State Forest, WA, somebody target shooting was "unknowingly" firing across one of the most used trails in the forest. As soon as we realized how close the shots were, we heard at least two zip past just ahead of us seemingly at head level. The sound was apparent and "felt" close, the GoPro barely picked up the audio, so I increased the volume for the first two. With headphones you can hear them in the original clip, prior to me cranking up the volume. After reflecting for a couple days about this incident,...

Russ Feingold, the former Democratic senator from Wisconsin who is running again in an attempt to win back his old Senate seat, was recorded at a fundraiser saying that Hillary Clinton might issue an executive order on guns. The video was captured by James O’ Keefe’s Project Veritas at an Aug. 17, $2,700 per-head fundraiser held at the Palo-Alto, Calif., home of Democratic donors Amy Rao and Harry Plant. Palo-Alto is located 10 minutes away from Stanford University, where Feingold taught after leaving his position as a special envoy at the U.S. State Department. Feingold can be heard in the...
