Officer Jason Falconer was off duty when he stopped the stabbing attack at Crossroads Center in St. Cloud on Saturday. He is receiving a lot of attention and praise for his bravery by the community, Gov. Mark Dayton and President Barak Obama. Both spoke to Falconer on the phone Monday. President Obama said, "We are very grateful no one lost their life. Thanks to the brave action of the off-duty officer, the suspect was killed and we avoided more people being hurt." While Falconer, the part-time officer with the Avon Police Department and former police chief in another town, isn't...

"I look at the last two years and I see the Islamic State fighting a two-front war," Gorka said on "Fox and Friends" this morning. "They're using violence in the region - in Iraq, in Syria, in Libya - to consolidate and expand the territory they hold ... and they are promoting attacks on the soil of the infidel." He described recent attacks in Paris, Brussels, Nice and Orlando as "guerrilla warfare." "That's exactly what we've seen in New York and in New Jersey this weekend," Gorka said, adding that a bloody knife attack at a Minnesota mall Saturday evening...

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid said Monday a gun control bill authored by Democrats would prevent another terrorist attacks like the ones carried out in New Jersey and New York this weekend. "We can argue from now on about whether this bill would have prevented this weekend's attacks," Reid, D-Nev., said. "But one thing is for sure, it would prevent the next attack." Democrats have authored a bill that would ban people on a federal terror watch list from purchasing guns or explosives. House and Senate Republicans have authored their own legislation, which would put in place a three-day waiting...

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes is thrilled beyond belief that New York and New Jersey experienced bombings over the weekends. His rationale? At least they didn’t use guns. Can you believe someone could be so stupid to say something like that? How does this child hold down a steady job? Even for a liberal network, it’s ridiculous they allow this sort of thing. I’m not mincing words, either. Read his tweets.

USPSA Shooter, 3-Gunner, and NRA-certified firearms instructor Jason Falconer has been identified as the man who shot and killed a 22-year-old Somali immigrant who went on a stabbing rampage inside a St. Cloud, (MN) Mall on Saturday. The apparent terrorist—who apparently asked victims if they were Muslims before stabbing them—was engaged by Falconer inside the mall. Falconer is the president and owner of Tactical Advantage LLC, a shooting range and tactical training facility with a strong focus on arming concealed carriers. He’s also a former chief of the Albany (MN) police department, and he remains a part-time officer.

Corasaniti, Confessore, and Barbaro aren’t legitimate journalists Once again the paid professional liars at the New York Times have proven they can’t be trusted to report anything accurately. In this case the liars of record are Nick Corasaniti, Nicholas Confessore, and Michael Barbaro. These guys tried to make it look like GOP candidate Donald Trump was threatening or encouraging violence against his Democrat counterpart Hillary Clinton. Of course, Trump did nothing of the sort. Their wildly dishonest article from Sept. 16 begins:

t's still breakfast time here on the West Coast and MNSBC's Chris Hayes has already said the dumbest thing you'll hear all week regarding the past weekend's bomb attacks: Follow Christopher Hayes ✔ @chrislhayes We're also very very lucky that the attackers tried to use explosives rather than guns. 11:40 AM - 19 Sep 2016 200 200 Retweets 654 654 likes He's getting raked over all the coals available on social media for this but, true to MSNBC fashion, he's not backing down. The tweet is still up. Remember, this kind of non-thinking is actually rewarded there. Only in the...

How's that for 'Narrative' If there’s one thing the left has taught us, it’s that the NRA is an evil organization that panders to gun nuts, craves violence, wants children to die, and works for the destruction of all that is good and decent in America. While they like claim otherwise, people with guns never stop mass-casualty attacks, guns are pretty much never used in self-defense, and carrying one in public is a recipe for disaster. If there are two things the left has taught us, it’s that the NRA is evil - and cops are just as bad. After...

NEW YORK (AP) — An Afghan immigrant wanted for questioning in the bombings that rocked a New York City neighborhood and a New Jersey shore town was taken into custody Monday after a shootout with police in New Jersey, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press. WABC-TV footage showed a man believed to be 28-year-old Ahmad Khan Rahami being loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher in Linden, New Jersey. He appeared to be conscious and looking around. The law enforcement official, who was not authorized to discuss the investigation and spoke on condition of anonymity, said two officers...

The shooting scene: Driveway with car and truck is Doyle's. Truck and trailer are Gonzalez'. On July 23 of 2015, in Citrus County Florida, Robert Doyle and Candelario Gonzalez had a very bad day. Both made intemperate statements. Gonzalez had his wife and two child relatives in the car with him. He followed Doyle and Doyle's wife to their home. Gonzalez' wife reported to 911 that "My husband wants to go whoop his (expletive),". Gonzalez can be heard in the background: “He just flipped me off, I’m going to kick him right in his (expletive). … I’m going to...

Trump's poll surge is about to get tested. The MSM will test it like auto manufacturers test the integrity of their frames, with repeated head-on collisions while they studiously note where they might hit again to yield a total structure failure. The question is, however, after months of incredible outrage directed at Trump, how much damage can the MSM do to the Donald? The MSM thought that Donald Trump had a bad Friday, not as bad as face-planting into the Scooby van, but bad. As Trump basher Glenn Thrush wrote in Politico, Trump could get cocky and make a mistake...

It started innocently enough: Andreas H. Koertel, 46, was pulled over in a traffic stop. Then things got hairy in hurry. Turns out Koertel, a German national, was in possession of meth and illegal weapons, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, so he was booked into jail on multiple charges, KXTV-TV reports. Wisely the deputies called the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department to see if they could check out a property in Rio Linda where Koertel had been staying. But detectives encountered quite a bit more than they bargained for Friday. Here’s what they found, KTXL-TV reports: Several explosive materials,...

It ain’t the first time, the VP nominee adds. Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine flatly said on Sunday that Donald Trump has tried to incite violence against Hillary Clinton. “I do believe that, Chris,” Kaine told Fox News’ Chris Wallace. “I was stunned when I saw it, though he has done that before.” Kaine’s straightforward remarks were made in reference to comments Trump delivered on Friday night, when he said that Secret Service members protecting Clinton should disarm because of her stance on gun control. “She doesn’t want guns,” Trump said. “Let’s see what happens to her. Take their...

Despite The Rise Of The 6.5, The 7mm Remains America’s Favorite Metric Hunting CartridgeIt’s hard to pick up a shooting magazine or wander through a large gun store without coming face to face with one of the myriad of popular 6.5 cartridges. Some, like the 6.5 Grendel, 26 Nosler and 6.5 Creedmoor are relatively new. Others, like the 6.5×55 Swedish Mauser, are practically historic. But the 6.5s are trending right now in every platform for hunting and competitive shooting. I won't take anything away from the 6.5s. They’re versatile cartridges that are accurate out to long range. But the king...

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit is scheduled to hear arguments in two cases on Tuesday that present questions at the bleeding edge of Second Amendment law: Is there a constitutional right to carry a handgun outside the home? And if so, how much can the government limit that right? The court is weighing a Washington, D.C., law that requires anyone seeking a license to carry a concealed gun to show “good reason to fear injury.” Living in a high-crime neighborhood isn’t reason enough, according to rules put out by D.C.’s chief of police. Applicants have to...

In 1999, Wisconsin passed a statue which prohibited political subdivisions of the state from regulating firearms. The statute was expanded in 2011 with the passage of the shall issue permit law, and again in 2015 when knives were included as items protected by the law. The City of Madison political structure has been ideologically opposed to the right to keep and bear arms for decades. It has paid out in lost lawsuits when it attempted to criminalize open carry by claiming that open carriers were "obstructing justice" and charging them with "disorderly conduct". After Wisconsin passed the shall issue...

It’s now law. In Missouri, you no longer need a license to carry a firearm in public. They’re the 12th state to adopt such a law known as constitutional carry; Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) represents a state with such a law. To those who love freedom and the Second Amendment, it’s a great day for the expansion of constitutional rights. For anti-gun liberals, it’s a day for hysterics, which wasperfectly captured by the editorial board of The New York Times: The measure has drawn no great national attention, but it certainly provides further evidence that gun safety cannot be...

"Hey @realDonaldTrump, if you keep suggesting your supporters kill @HillaryClinton, someone will listen. The blood will be on your hands," Murphy tweeted Saturday morning. Trump said Friday night at a campaign rally that Clinton’s Secret Service detail should have their guns taken away to "see what happens to her." "I think that her bodyguards should drop all weapons," he said. "Take their guns away. She doesn’t want guns … let's see what happens to her. Take their guns away, OK? It'd be very dangerous." Democrats have reacted angrily to Trump’s comment, calling it an incitement of violence.

States are seen as the laboratories for democracy. They can be places to cite great public policy successes and highlight the many horrible failures. As more Democratic states adopt more anti-gun policies, there are fears that the groundwork for confiscation is being set. Of all places, you would think that California, or New York, would be the place that Second Amendment rights advocates fear would be the test area for such policies. Nope. It’s actually Hawaii. The Aloha State is the first in the country that requires its gun-owning residents to enter a federal database (via NRA Hunters): Hawaii’s...
