Blizzards and AK's go together like baseball and hotdogs. Since we're in the middle of another snow storm and given the recent passing of Kalashnikov, I decided to talk about a few of the things that make AK's so unique. The AK featured in this video is a Polytech Legend in 7.62x39 which I bought back in the late 1980's. The bull-pup I affectionately call the "Hebrew Hammer" is a IWI Tavor with a Mepro MOR red-dot sight.

As California Congressman Henry Waxman promised, he has introduced a Bill to ban the sale of “Parts kits” for “Assault Rifles, Assault Shotguns, and Assault Pistols." This also includes a ban on Receiver blanks. A Glennville man was cited for disorderly conduct June 11 after allegedly brandishing an AK-47 assault rifle at a Hinesville basketball court during a dispute over a foul call. I am a 19-year-old volunteer firefighter living in New York. I also own an AR-15 rifle that is ban compliant. This means that I have spent well over a thousand dollars buying and modifying the rifle to make it legal in NY State, something that people in other states with less violent crime do not need to do.
