Arabs Actually Benefit from Reverse Racism in Israel -- Rather Than Suffering from Perverse Racism The ironies have never been greater, as will be the representation of the Arabs in the new Israeli parliament now in formation. Prime Minister Netanyahu has been accused of racism upon trying to get out his base to vote by pointing out that the press was observing that Arabs were coming out in droves on Election Day. But what does this tell us? Even the most anti-Semitic Israel basher and Netanyahu basher has to concede that the fact that Arabs were coming out in droves...

TV pollster says surveys showed Likud trailing by 3-4 seats at noon on election day; then PM issued controversial Facebook post. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Election Day high noon appeal to his supporters to go out and vote to offset the “droves of Arabs” flowing to the polling stations may have played a decisive role in his victory, the country’s best-known political pollster indicated Wednesday. Pollster Dr. Mina Tzemach told the Knesset Channel that, at noon on election day, March 17, her surveys showed Isaac Herzog’s Zionist Camp to be leading Netanyahu’s Likud by three to four seats. Then, at...

Analysis: The Egyptian, Jordanian, Saudi and Gulf state rulers trust Israel's re-elected prime minister to handle the Iranian issue, and the Americans to pressure him on the Palestinian issue. The Arab world, just like officials in Jerusalem and in the IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv, is monitoring the steps of the American dance which is casting a shadow on the elections results here. One can definitely say that the roof did not collapse on the Arab leaders' heads when Netanyahu won. The elections here appeared odd, and if there was any attention, it focused on the joint Arab list, and...

As WND reported last month, the U.S. has not been standing on the sidelines when it comes to mobilizing the all-important Arab vote.

Deebo at Israellycool looks at some interesting statistics from the Israeli elections. One of the facts reported is that the most pro-Likud town in Israel is the village of All Naim, where 77% voted Likud. Al Naim is a Bedouin Arab town. Why did they vote for Bibi? NRG went there and asked. Until 1999 the Bedouin village was not known, and for years it waged a war against the Israeli authorities demanding recognition and minimum conditions for life such as electrical and sewage connections. In the past two years, things have changed dramatically. Now there is a paved main...

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday night apologized for controversial comments he made on the eve of elections and if he caused offense to Israel’s Arab population. “I know that the words that I said some days ago offended Israel’s Arabs. I did not intend at all that this would happen. I am very sorry about that,” he said when hosting representatives from Israel’s minority communities at the prime minister’s residence, including the leadership of Israel’s Arab communities. Netanyahu emphasized to his audience: “I see myself as the prime minister of each and every one of you, of all of...

On Election Day PM urged Right-wing to go vote as Arab voters were going "en masse to the polls." In a meeting with representatives of minority communities in Israel on Monday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu apologized for the remarks that he made on Election Day about Arab Israeli voters. "I know that the things I said a few days ago hurt some citizens in Israel, the Arab Israeli citizens," Netanyahu said. "This was not my intention and I am sorry," he said. Netanyahu's Election Day remarks have garnered extensive criticism. “The Right-wing government is in danger. Arab voters are going...

Netanyahu’s conservative Likud Party got its best numbers not in Jerusalem, where it only won a quarter of the vote, or Sderot, the city under siege where it still got less than half, or Maaleh Adumim, a city of some 40,000 known as a “settlement” because it is located in ’67 Israel where it also took less than half. Its best numbers appear to have come from Arab-al-Naim, a Bedouin settlement, where it scored three-quarters of the vote. The residents were uninterested in any of the accusations of racism being aimed at Netanyahu by the media. Instead they were interested in...

Two victories this week for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, one seismic, the other minor though not insignificant. First, he won a solid re-election victory that affirmed his dire warning of the peril from a nuclear-armed Iran. Secondly, he persuaded an influential American liberal that his campaign warning that Israel's Arab citizens might swing the election against him was not a despicable, race-baiting tactic as alleged by other liberals. Netanyahu may never learn of this second vote of approval from liberal comedian Bill Maher, but it remains worth savoring for conservatives here in the U.S. (VIDEO-AT-LINK)It was heard on last...

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sounded alarm on Tuesday over high voter turnout among Arabs in the country’s Knesset election, urging supporters to get their friends and family to vote for his Likud party. “The right-wing government is in danger. Arab voters are coming out in droves to the polls. Left-wing organizations are bussing them out,” Netanyahu said in a 28-second video in Hebrew posted on his Facebook page, according to a translation by Haaretz. “Get out to vote, bring your friends and family, vote Likud in order to close the gap between us and ‘Labor.’”

In an exclusive interview with Arutz Sheva, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu repeated his vow not to opt for a “unity government” with Labor’s Yitzhak Herzog. […] Netanyahu said that Arab voters are being brought to the polling booths by V-15 and other NGOs funded from abroad. “We do not have NGOs,” he said. “We do not have V-15; we have ‘tzav 8’ [as the orders calling up soldiers to the battlefield are called—ed.]. We have you. If you do not go to the voting booth, Ahmed Tibi and Hanin Zoabi will make Buji Herzog prime minister for the Left. That...

Powerful narrative of today’s Philistines, the Palestinians, is built without substance. It can be brought down with a handful of stones - Truth, Legitimacy, Courage, Heritage, Values “Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:40. Two armies faced each other more than two millennium ago. The Israelites were retreating from the advancing Philistines. The two armies took their last stand on opposing hilltops in readiness for the final decisive battle. The...

Sixty years after its establishment by an internationally recognized act of self-determination, Israel remains the only state in the world that is subjected to a constant outpouring of the most outlandish conspiracy theories and blood libels; whose policies and actions are obsessively condemned by the international community; and whose right to exist is constantly debated and challenged not only by its Arab enemies but by segments of advanced opinion in the West. During the past decade or so, the actual elimination of the Jewish state has become a cause célèbre among many of these educated Westerners. The “one-state solution,” as...

Netanyahu urges nationalists to vote Likud, stave-off leftist gov't of 'submission and capitulation'; 'they'll retreat along every front.' Ahead of tonight's major nationalist rally in Tel Aviv, and just two days before general elections, Prime Minister and Likud party leader Binyamin Netanyahu spoke exclusively in English to Arutz Sheva, and appealed to right-wing voters to cast their ballots for Likud - saying only his party could prevent the establishment of a leftist government which would be essentially controlled by outside powers. "The possibility is that if we don't close the gap between Labor and Likud, then Buji [Yitzhak Herzog] and...

"Those who are with us deserve everything, but those who are against us deserve to have their heads chopped off with an axe," the ultra-nationalist politician said. At a Q&A session following the speech, an Arab-Israeli audience member asked what would become of her if his plans became policy, to which he replied: “I have no problem with your being a citizen. I expect all Arabs, Christians and Jews to be loyal to the state, regardless of religious affiliation, and to serve in the IDF. We accept and encourage those who identify with us.” He added that those who raised...

Everybody is against the Jews. Again. Between 1948 and 1967, the Arabs knew the shame of disastrous defeats in three wars, but they never gave up, and now again are trying to flood the small Jewish island formed in their boundless ocean. It was predictable; sooner or later it had to happen. The Arabs are always looking to the past and and seem unable to turn towards a future where there is the State of Israel. Theirs is a kind of hypnosis: destroy Israel, whatever the cost. From the Palestinian Arabs to the Islamic State to Hezbollah, they stay alive...

...Abd Al-Bari Atwan: In my view, Jihad must be directed, first and foremost, against the Israeli enemy. This is the enemy about which there is a consensus. Arabs who do not think that Israel is an enemy are neither Arabs nor Muslims. Our compass must point toward that enemy. All our guns must be turned toward that enemy, regardless of our differences, because this is the only thing that unites us....

An artwork depicting high-heeled shoes on Islamic prayer mats has been removed from an exhibition after a Muslim group warned of possible violence in the wake of the Paris attacks. The French-Algerian artist, Zoulikha Bouabdellah, withdrew the work from an exhibition in a northern Paris suburb with a large Muslim population after an Islamic group told local authorities it could provoke “uncontrollable, irresponsible incidents”. It is considered disrespectful to step on Muslim prayer maps with shoes.

The Islamic Republic of Iran—which would be better known as the Islamic Occupation Regime—has for over thirty years championed itself as the “Palestinian” Arabs greatest supporters in the Islamist quest to extirpate the State of Israel from the world. Yet, while the non-Arab, Persian Shi’ite regime demonizes Israel and “Zionists” twenty four hours a day, it aligns itself with the Arab Sunni fundamentalist terror gang called Hamas, while also aligning itself with the Arab Shi’ite terrorist gang - Hizbullah - which has a strangle hold on Lebanon.

Francaviglia does not dispute that Muslims could have beaten Columbus to the New World. They certainly possessed the technological expertise to have done so; but, so far, there is no reliable evidence that they did. There are, however, very good reasons for thinking that they didn't. Arab maps were the best in the world, but none of the existing early maps demonstrates any knowledge of the Americas. Arabs also were prolific writers. Francaviglia thinks it’s virtually impossible that Arab explorers discovered the Americas and made no mention of the fact. Why then is the supposed pre-Columbian Muslim discovery of America...
