Thousands - 5,000 in Amman alone - take to the streets in pro-terror rallies, demanding end to peace treaty with Israel. Thousands of Jordanian citizens went out on Friday to city centers around the country, in mass protests demanding that the government cancel the 1994 peace agreement with Israel. No less than 5,000 Jordanians took part in the main protest, which was held in the capital city of Amman, and which was organized by the Muslim Brotherhood. The protesters shouted "no Zionist embassy on Jordanian land," and, "with the knife and shards stab the son of the Jewess," among other...

The ever-growing proof of an anti-Israel prejudice at The New York Times (NYT) is so extensive and persistent that the paper’s partiality is now undeniable (see this endless archive of bias reports). […] On September 10th, the NYT singled out Jewish lawmakers on the Iran deal. On September 15th, the NYT suggested that the Israeli who was murdered by rock-throwing Palestinians had died of a “self-inflicted accident” after the attackers had merely “pelted the road” (rather than his car). The National Review provided a detailed critique of this farcical “reporting.” […] On September 29, (Diaa) Hadid used an anonymous European...

In a reference to the Republican Party debate, Iran’s Supreme Leader’s decried on Twitter that “presidential candidates try to satisfy Zionists.” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei referred to Wednesday night’s CNN-sponsored debate in a tweet on Thursday, part of a series of anti-Israel tweets. US govs put their people under Zionists custody.Isn’t it a shame that presidential candidates try to satisfy Zionists&prove their servitude? In a follow-up tweet, Khamenei reiterated a claim he made earlier this month that Israel will not last: Zionist regime is an imposed regime, made through coercion; no entity made by coercion would last. This regime will not...

The Icelandic capital of Reykjavik has announced that it will boycott all products made in Israel “as long as the occupation of Palestinian territories continues.” The boycott not does limit itself to Judea and Samaria, but instead targets all of Israel. An explanatory memorandum claims that it is merely a symbolic gesture, though, and there is no list of specific Israel companies or products included. Björk Vilhelmsdóttir, an outgoing councilwomen representing the Social Democratic Alliance, introduced the bill. This is expected to be her last major action as part of the city council. …

Some people are of the unfortunate opinion that the John Birch Society is militantly patriotic and a supporter of this nation's military. That is not the case, especially not now. The JBS always was a front group for the European right wing and our own domestic Jew-haters. It was the "blue lodge" for recruiting decent conservatives and, by exposing them a little bit at a time to the classic anti-Jewish line, to eventually recruit them into the anti-Semitic movement proper. But at least when I was a member some thirty years ago the Society's publications didn't openly take potshots at...

Iran is continuing its verbal attacks on Israel, with the latest remarks coming on Saturday by a close aide to the Islamic Republic’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The aide, Seyed Mahmoud Nabavi, was replying to British Foreign Secretary Phillip Hammond’s recent remarks that Tehran has changed its policy on Israel, and underlined that fighting the “Zionist regime” is Iran’s everlasting policy. “Fight against the illegal Zionist regime is one of the immutable policies of Iran which has always been maintained,” Nabavi told the semi-official Fars news agency. He blasted Hammond’s comments and said, “Such words are incorrect since one...

One by one, U.S. Senate Democrats are announcing that after much deliberation ‎‎(translated as arm twisting by President Barack Obama), they have decided to support the ‎Iran deal, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, despite serious misgivings. Each of the senators wants you to ‎know that they were personally wrestling with this decision for weeks, talking to ‎experts (provided by the Obama administration for the most part), reading the ‎agreement carefully, weighing and balancing risk versus reward. Each Senate ‎Democrat joining the charade of moving from indecision to decision, makes sure to add that they want to do everything to...

Obama Sways Influential Jewish Lawmaker to Back Iran Deal Rep. Nadler’s endorsement capped a week in which president locked in support from several wavering Democrats By SIOBHAN HUGHES Aug. 21, 2015 WASHINGTON—Rep. Jerry Nadler on Friday endorsed the Iran nuclear deal, capping a week in which the Obama administration locked in support from several wavering Democrats before a critical vote next month on an agreement that could reshape the U.S. relationship with the Middle East. The Jewish Democrat from New York said that “for all its flaws,” the accord between Iran and six other nations “gives us the best chance...

Intelligence officials are comparing a newly discovered secret Islamic State document to Hitler's "Mein Kampf," as it blames Israel for the rise of the Islamic State and crowns U.S. President Barack Obama as the "Mule of the Jews." Found in Pakistan's remote tribal region by American Media Institute (AMI), the 32-page Urdu language document promotes an "end of the world" battle as a final solution. It argues that the Islamic leader should be recognized as the sole ruler of the world's 1 billion Muslims, under a religious empire called a "caliphate." ...Retired U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency Director Gen. Michael Flynn...

Pat Buchanan has for years been such a virulent opponent of Israel that he has frequently been accused of anti-Semitism, and this column condemning Benjamin Netanyahu for supposedly interfering in America’s internal affairs by opposing the Iran deal is not going to erase that impression. The paleocon Right hates Israel with such abiding passion that it is increasingly self-contradictory: for a small government advocate like Buchanan defending Barack Obama and tacitly supporting a deal that threatens not just Israel, but the U.S. as well, manifests a moral myopia of catastrophic immensity. But it’s no surprise. I’ve noted before how the...

The strong bias that many European media hold against Israel has been documented for decades by a great variety of analysts. One of the first to do so was The Jerusalem Post editor David Bar-Illan. He gave many examples of media prejudice in his book, Eye on the Media, published in 1983 and based on his columns in the daily. […] During an interview some ten years after the publication of his book, Bar-Illan told me that the BBC was “by far the worst offender when it comes to Israel.” He said that there were hundreds of examples of BBC...

Last week's successfully concluded Iran agreement is one of the two most important achievements of an otherwise pretty dismal Obama presidency. Along with the ongoing process of normalizing relations with Cuba, this move shows that diplomacy can produce peaceful, positive changes. It also shows that sometimes taking a principled position means facing down overwhelming opposition from all sides and not backing down. The president should be commended for both of these achievements. The agreement has reduced the chance of a U.S. attack on Iran, which is a great development. But the interventionists will not give up so easily. Already they...

Hillary Clinton is privately signaling to wealthy Jewish donors that — no matter the result of the Iranian nuclear negotiations — she will be a better friend to Israel than President Barack Obama. But, even as donors increasingly push Clinton on the subject in private, they have emerged with sometimes widely varying interpretations about whether she would support a prospective deal, according to interviews with more than 10 influential donors and fundraising operatives. Clinton’s private responses in some ways resemble a foreign policy Rorschach test; donors who see a deal as important to world peace have come away thinking that...

A document released in late May by pro-Muslim Brotherhood clerics incited the Egyptian population to “strive for the complete elimination” of their current government, according to a new report. Calling the military-backed government a “criminal and murderous regime,” the radical clerics said public figures associated with it should be put to death, in accordance with Sharia law. The document also demands the release of Morsi, who it refers to as the “legitimate elected president.” […] “According to the Sharia, it is the duty of the ummah—its leaders and its people—to oppose this regime and strive for its complete elimination by...

Elias Paz, the emissary for Bnei Akiva and the Jewish Agency in Germany, told Arutz Sheva about a report recently published by the German government, which details that last year there was a whopping 1,000% rise in anti-Israeli crimes and violent assaults, and a 25% rise in anti-Semitic crimes and attacks. The latter figure includes physical assaults on Jews, as well as vandalistic attacks on synagogues and Jewish cemeteries, in addition to incitement at protests. According to Paz, the German anti-Semites have found a way to cover their hatred of Jews in an increasingly internationally acceptable camouflage of antagonism against...

The District Governor of Ile De France has contacted the State Attorney’s Office on Monday, after the French newspaper Liberation reported that two prominent historical sites turned away a group of students from the Tel Aviv University (TAU) Art History program last month. According to the report, both the Louvre art museum and the Sainte-Chapelle church rejected tour requests from the group on the basis of their nationality. …

President Obama and his administration continue to support the global Islamist militant group known the Muslim Brotherhood. A White House strategy document regards the group as a moderate alternative to more violent Islamist groups like al Qaeda and the Islamic State. The policy of backing the Muslim Brotherhood is outlined in a secret directive called Presidential Study Directive-11, or PSD-11. The directive was produced in 2011 and outlines administration support for political reform in the Middle East and North Africa, according to officials familiar with the classified study. Efforts to force the administration to release the directive or portions of...

President Barack Obama said Friday he “forcefully” objects to suggestions that policy differences between his administration and the Israeli government signal his lack of support for the longtime U.S. ally. Speaking at one of Washington’s most prominent synagogues, Obama said the U.S. and Israel should not be expected to paper over differences on Israel's settlement building or the frozen peace process with the Palestinians. “That’s not a true measure of friendship,” Obama said during remarks to a crowd of about 1,200 gathered at Congregation Adas Israel. […] Obama defended the framework deal that negotiators are seeking to finalize by the...

President Reuven Rivlin was born on September 9, 1939, in Jerusalem. However, according to the Google search engine, the tenth president of the State of Israel was born in “Palestine.” The Mayor of Ra’anana, Ze’ev Bielski, made the shocking discovery. “While working on a speech for the arrival of President to Ra’anana, and I typed his name into Google in English, and then we were amazed to see that says he was born in Jerusalem—in the Palestinian state,” Bielski stated to Yediot Aharonot on Friday. This is not what the world considers hate speech.
