The UC Davis student senate has made it optional to display the American flag at its meetings, stirring up controversy on campus and conservative blogs. Senate Bill 76 passed Thursday, said Michael Gofman, a student senator who opposed the change. The bill amends bylaws that required the United States flag to be on display at every senate meeting of the Associated Students, University of California, Davis.

Supporters of President Trump held a rally today in Berkeley, California. Hundreds of far left Antifa thugs turned out to disrupt the protest and beat heads. The police were no where in sight. Kyle Chapman, known as “Based Stickman” on Facebook, was arrested in Berkeley, CA Monday after fighting with a group who confronted him for carrying an American flag around town. Chapman was walking around Berkeley wearing a baseball helmet and toting the flag while being filmed to promote a free-speech rally scheduled for Saturday. A group of youths approached Chapman, telling him and his cameraman to leave. One man got in Chapman’s face, challenging him to fight. Chapman then punched his aggressor in the face. As he swung, another member of the group hit Chapman with a skateboard.
